Motor1 got a reply from Acura further clarifying the reservations/production for 2023 model year. I wonder if all color options will be available for the people who reserve from this limited run.
"While long-term production of 2023 Acura Integra will not be limited, we know that a number of...
I didn’t realize they did that. Do you happen to know when they dropped the specs for the MDX type S in relation to being able to place a deposit? Or were reservations taken prior to full spec release?
We’ll that’s annoying. I have to sign up again to get onto a new wait list? I already put a deposit down and everything.
Starting to think I should just wait till next year to buy a car
Just curious for any current Acura owners, first time im going to be financing a car since lease deals are non existent
Does Acura offer something similar to Honda care (8yr bumper to bumper) through Acura itself and not a 3rd party?
Acura just dropped part 4 of the anime on Twitter.. being optimistic and hoping for Integra next week vs MDX type S stuff lol
edit: looks like Acura and Honda are both not going to be at NYIAS in April, so Long Beach definitely sounds like that will be the international “reveal”
I just double checked but here in the US, heated steering wheel is an option for all Acura models and all trims.
Hoping the Integra will continue with that trend so that any trim can have it.
Gotta remember 0-60 in the Si requires a shift to 3rd gear, I believe at literally 59mph . The synical part of me says they purposely did so, so that when they add the DCT and it goes down to 6.6-6.7 that hidden 20hp makes it seem like it’s doing something lol.
either way like you said should...
The new HRV is rolling on a civic platform with AWD, so I’d expect it’s possible.
My own opinion is that if Acura wants to bring people into the brand, it needs AWD option. Almost anyone I talk to about acura knows only two words, RDX and SH-AWD. So not having a key Acura feature would be...
We still have volume 4 for the anime thing, and to my knowledge there aren’t any MDX type S reviews yet. I’d assume that has to come first. We only just got the NSX type S first drive reviews at Daytona.
If you believe in the groundhog telling you the weather, we also have at least 6 more...
After seeing the blue interior my top choice is liquid carbon with azurite blue, but that’s definitely not coming on the non Type S:(
Hoping for either apex or Long Beach blue with a tan interior option. Will probably go liquid carbon with red if tan isn’t offered.
I think the materials will look better for sure.
I was just browsing the MDX and I noticed how close they actually got the Integra dash to look like the rest of the lineup. I can see with better materials warming up to that area where the honeycomb normally is on the civic
Couldnt agree more here. 220hp puts ahead of the spec sheet of the Germans (although that weak torque vs the comp doesn’t help). Giving AWD and an auto or manual option is another advantage vs the comp.
The CDX has 1.5t plus DCT in China so I’ve become more hopeful this is what we get.
Interested to hear more about those who sat in this thing already about rear headroom and rearward visibility. I know for the civic they worked hard to minimize any blind spots so maybe this will also have surprisingly good visibility even with the liftback shape.
Ironically after having spent some more time with the TLX and RDX I’d actually prefer the touchpad system over most out there, Mazda included.
My eyes definitely came off the road less once I understood how to use it, and it’s a lot easier to use on poor road surfaces when you’re bouncing...
