so now that base model pricing has dropped. Do we still think the Type S will come in under 40k? Seems like that 37-39k range might be the case, considering top trip base is just under 36k.
Basically my view is if you consider the Integra premium, the Mazda is definitely premium. Otherwise both are near premium to me and is why they compete despite the drivetrain differences.
The base turbo sedan at 31k comes with nearly everything including adaptive headlights but wireless...
Which is perfectly acceptable, the only real let down on the Mazda on the suspension side is the tires they chose.
you don’t need to argue for the Integra in every way possible, while this is an Acura forum it doesn’t need to be a dictatorship.
there are some things the Integra has that others...
I also decided to wait it out for the ITS. I am hoping it’s something special and gives me a reason to buy over the other options I’m considering. If it hits that 37k price point it will be a really hard choice for me
I was hoping for the flat bottomed steering wheel mainly because it would have probably resembled the TLX a spec wheel in material and design, which was the most comfortable steering wheel I’ve ever tried tbh lol
Probably going to be impossible to get your hands on one, will be interesting what Toyota does since they don’t allow customers to order cars. Surely this would have to bend the rules?
unfortunately you are going to have to ask, because otherwise you need to start calling around even out of state to find MSRP and move your reservation there. Definitely better to do this now than later
Idk we will see what the plan is.. I don’t think they have one at all. I think they are In between trying to sell 20-30 year olds and also trying to sell the older crowd. And this is the mess you get when that happens.
I agree on the CVT but for myself, There are a lot of cars that are 35 or...
Assuming the top trim is 35k. I think the winner is the base model it’s exactly what people want which is hatchback Si. It’s just the manual people who have to pay more, which sucks but hey at least you have the option.
Something else I noticed.. no heated steering wheel? That’s definitely something you’d advertise if you are advertising heated seats. Probably because the steering wheel is civic too.
