Yeah forgot about those pics lol. To be honest the side profile is straight Audi A5 to me. Which I think is great since they basically have the A5 coupe and sport back - I can definitely see Acura going this route with the eventual return of the coupe for those that want it. Anecdotally I see a...
We’ll I’m excited for this thing still. I think a huge part of how much we will love/hate the design comes down the rear quarter panel area. How swoopy, how does rear taillight flow into rest of design, is there a 3rd window or all metal?
Boy I’d trade both of those things in a heartbeat to get heated seats back. At least I was already set on the Integra so not as much disappointment for me.
I’m thinking the original image was a render, looks like where the “check mark” on the headlight is in the teaser is
we also don’t know how thick the camo layer is as well.
It seems like the front of the car has a really thick layer still, maybe to hide some of the flared fenders. Looking at...
So the interior shot has me curious, it looks like it’ll mostly be a civic copy. I wonder if that means the drive mode selector on the Type S will be the civic style or the giant dial from the other products in acura line up lol
Correct, I had mentioned in my life, not the general public. The overall shape of the car looks like a 2 door will come eventually and not cost too much to Acura. Sales will have to tell, I mean the civic coupe sold <6% of sales the last year of production while the hatchback rose 24%. Even...
Different world today. Not having to adjust my seat for back seat passengers and my dogs is worth having the 4 doors. I can’t find any good reasons at this point in my life to want a 2 door as a commuter/daily
My personal opinion is that if they added any more weight or HP, they would have a car with gas mileage in the teens, pushing people on the fence to go SUV instead of sedan.
This is the first time I’ve been truly excited for a car in a long time. I’d never buy a CTR for the asking price, but throw that engine in an Acura with SHAWD and the best seats in the industry? Sold.
Struggle bus is real trying to wait for more info.
Apex blue might be one of my favorite shades of blue ever. There’s a ton of depth to the color.
I am really loving the long Beach blue From the RDX/NSX.. can dream
I had a 2007 Tiburon. Then 2019 Si sedan.
I do miss the extra oomph of the Tiburon V6 and honestly the seats were so much better than the civic (no lumbar support??? Really?).
But otherwise I’ve been turned into a Honda guy
