Acura just tweeted out it’s 2022 RDX is available now, so there’s nothing left in the portfolio to reveal but the Integra. Hopefully by the end of the month or February!
That article saying Honda is going all in on EVs is what sealed the deal. I initially thought they would go hybrid AWD with the Type S but seems corporate has decided to ditch the gas engine as well
All these cars getting AWD variants, and yet I just don’t see them doing it with the Integra, so jealous.
love the SHAWD when driving the TLX and also living in the north would be really nice to have. But with the car getting the Si engine I just don’t think they can add enough power to...
Agreed. They kind of have to, I mean a 7.2 second 0-60 is not something I can have driving in NY. My 19 Si is already bad enough to get to highway speed lol you gotta be doing 70 by the end of the off ramp.
I'm sure they can get that 7.2 to. 6.8 just with slightly more aggressive gearing and a...
My 07 Tiburon was a hunk of junk, clutch went out at 20k miles, electrical gremlins cost me a fortune as well. Car was worth basically nothing at 70k miles. They had that whole revamp in 2010-2012 so decided to trust them still with a 17 Tucson turbo DCT. And you know how that went. It’s an...
I’ve had a few bad experiences with Hyundai so they are off my list, it’s basically Integra or GTI for me. If I got a decent discount on a TLX I would consider that too.
I would wait for the 23 model year to see if they put some buttons back into the car.
Welcome to VAG lol. I was just reading a car and driver article of cars that beat the EPA estimates in real world tests. I think 3-4 were Porsches including a 911 turbo that got almost 30mpg. Also VW typically under reports power so the GTI is probably making more than stated too.
in the...
here’s the first from a YouTuber, but just like prior generations it does much better than stated just like the Si. I think on the 7.5 you’d see similar to the Si around 40.
Honestly would be happy with either, but I’ve been spoiled with the reliability and cheap maintenance of my Hondas so that’s the tie breaker for me lol
Yeah I’m sure it’s just an error, but I thought it was interesting and I would love for that to be the case. I mainly was going type S for the presumed AWD, but I’d go for an A spec DCT AWD in a heart beat.
strange that motor trend got to do this little video around the same time they update that spec sheet to say AWD… maybe John Rivers was in a good mood today lol
Yeah it’s just going to be my daily, so just a little extra oomph is all I’m looking for since my 10th gen Si I just felt like it needed a little more life to it. I’m very hopeful for a DCT and hopefully some more aggressive shift algorithms, as I’m assuming as with most Honda/Acura cars they...
