Hinshaw sucks. I contacted them first, they’re my closest dealer. I wouldn’t buy anything from them. Carter Acura in Lynwood would have been a much better choice. They’re MSRP only. No ADM or BS like all the rest of the Acura dealers in the area.

My dealer hasn’t confirmed exactly when their ITS demo will be ready/available. But, I’m heading up to my dealer on the 20th so the lady can check out the Integra in person…she hasn’t seen one yet. If the demo happens to be available, that would be a really nice bonus!

There was a picture of one of the Type S prototypes with a heated steering wheel. It’s posted somewhere on the forum. But, I don’t think it had perforated leather.

That's precisely how I like to tune the suspension on my street/track cars. It worked amazingly well on my STi's suspension making it a joy to drive around a race track and on the street.

They claimed that they re-tuned the ITS for more mid-range torque.....but, yes, I'm concerned with the overall characteristics of the engine performance and I hope the top-end performance hasn't been compromised.
I'm looking forward to hearing the driving impressions.

I'd be much more concerned with bore scoring than IMS.....luckily, when my 911's engine was torn apart due to a very rare valve spring failure it was free from any bore scoring issues.

My question isn’t about speed and power. I know the CTR is quick on the track. I’m just hoping the K20C1 has character and is engaging and fun to drive and run through the RPM’s unlike most of the modern 4 cylinder turbocharged engines which are heavy on low end torque and don’t have any life in...
I’m sure it pulls strong. It should. But, how does it feel while running it through the RPM’s?
I’m more concerned with the characteristics and dynamics of the power delivery than the power itself.
Basically, I’m hoping it’s an engaging engine and not boring to drive like so many low-end...
How’s the power delivery on the FL5? Does the engine and turbo build power through the RPM’s (similar to the Si / A-Spec Tech) or is all the power delivered down low and tapper off in the upper RPM’s?
Mike
Agreed. Car prices are outrageous. Doesn't matter which brand you're shopping.
Be very very selective with your future 911 purchase. Definitely get a PPI from a highly respected dealer/independent before making your decision.
