  1. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

^^^^ That’s dedication ;) For you, it’s a sunroof. For me, it’s a heated steering wheel. If, for whatever reason, the Type S doesn’t have a heated steering wheel and I can’t adapt the standard accessory option to it, I’m still buying the Type S. It just appears to be the best value in the...
  2. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

I have a GR Corolla Circuit Edition reserved for MSRP. But, they have several reservations and quite a few people in front of me. When you consider the GR Corolla production projections and dealer allocations and the number of North American Toyota dealers, I probably won’t ever get one. So...
  3. Flared Fenders?

^^^^^ I think several are suggesting that the door and fender feature an add-on (stick-on) flare and that the vinyl wrap is hiding the creases. I personally believe this is more likely than the alternative. I’m not sure if anyone is suggesting an add-on flare for the door with a molded fender...
  4. Flared Fenders?

I’m on the fence. The wrap could potentially be hiding the seems in the body panels. Regardless, molded (preferred) or, add-on, I’m still gonna buy it. Mike
  5. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

Good to know. I hope it stays that way. The first several Acura dealers I called in my area regarding the Type S are asking $5-15K over MSRP. All stating the reason behind the ADM was due to the asking prices for the Civic Type R and overall limited availability. Luckily, I found an MSRP...
  6. Integra Type-S Predictions - PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

That’s what I’m hoping for. Mike
  7. Got tuxmats in today!! They look great

These look like a HUGE upgrade over the alternative options. Mike
  8. What all-season mats will fit?

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll go with these mats too! Mike
  9. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

I previously have owned a VW GTI 337, VW R32 and Audi A3 S-Line. As much as I like them, I simply had too many electronic and mechanical issues to consider purchasing again. Great cars, just too many problems. The Type S will be nice with the K20C1 and the subtle appearance upgrades. Mike
  10. 2023 | Integra Borla's S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust

That’s awesome! Borla had my 2008 VW R32 back in the day to prototype an exhaust system. They had my R32 for several weeks. They were great to work with and I was happy with the exhaust. Mike
  11. What did you do to your Teggy today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Unfortunately, all I can do is dream about ownership... :D Mike
  12. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

^^^^ So, that's the other reason why I'm going with the Type S. ;) In all seriousness, my criteria for this car purchase is manual transmission, 4 doors, acceptable fuel economy and fun to drive. I've considered the Integra A-Spec, GR Corolla, Integra Type S and the CT4-V Blackwing. The...
  13. 2024MY wish list

Since I'm in the PNW and my Integra will be my DD....the only luxury item I really want is a Heated steering wheel. So, I'm hoping that the Acura Integra Heated steering wheel accessory kit will work on the Type S. Mike
  14. crickets - some of my thoughts on the upcoming Integra Type S

I too was considering the GR Corolla. I actually have a reservation on a GR Corolla Circuit Edition (Ice Cap) at MSRP. However, with the current production estimates, the best case scenario, each dealer will only receive 5 GR Corolla's per year. My dealer already has more than 10 reservations...
  15. Ordering Integra Type S

Well, I sure hope it doesn't cost $60K, lol I'm expecting $49-52K MSRP. That said, I have my 2024 Integra Type S spot reserved at MSRP and I'm first on their allocation list. I'm pretty excited and looking forward to additional details. Mike
