If your concern is mainly comfort and sidewall, I would suggest downgrading to an 18" rim. You aren't going to want to run the sizes you mention because of it's impact on gearing above all else. A 275/35 is going to be 5% larger than stock and the 40 is almost 10%.
It's likely you can run a...
What is the widest tire and at what offset have people been able to squeeze in? I see some folks claiming up to 305 will fit on their CTR with some added camber, but not sure if our fenders are that identical in size.
Currently running +15mm front and back, H&R springs (.8" drop). Was only...
Jon Rivers did one on his personal platinum white S.

In case anyone else is interested, got the TLX Type S center caps, 44732-TGV-A01, they are under $5 each and work. Paint match is close, but they have more metallic than the Apex so look a little lighter in direct sunlight. Fine for me.
There is a much simpler solution, put your stock air filter back in for any major warranty work. Warranty work is always going to be a dealer by dealer experience. It takes a few minutes to swap, no concerns.
I know Audi had instruction to void all engine warranty with an intake swap (and they...
Yeah, for some reason pricing is all over the place on these. I ordered a set of the TLX ones for under $5 each that should fit. I think it comes down to what color combo you want and hopefully Dream is displaying the correct width. Integra is too small, RDX too big, I think most TLX and MDX fit.
OK, I thought I saw someone used MDX ones but I couldn't remember if that was for Apex or Titan. The description says the CTR ones fit, surprised they aren't the same size?
I know quite a few folks here are running the Apexs, I was wondering if anyone has a picture with the Acura center cap? I thought they were sized to fit OEM but I haven't been able to find a pic of it with the OEM installed.
For those that aren't aware, Apex is running a pretty big sale on...
I am not too worried about if I fall in or out of Street Touring, as much as which class of Street Touring I fall into. STH makes the most sense, but looking at Nationals that doesn't seem right, more likely STX.
As for mods, Downpipe, Intake, tune (but can always turn that off), springs...
Anyone know what SCCA class a "slightly" modified DE5 would run in? I believe I can qualify for Street Touring, no interest in being competitive just not dealing with protests. Would it be STX then? I haven't found a decent breakdown on how Street Touring is split up, then my local chapter has...
Oh, not height (I am 6', PLENTY of room) I meant for comfort. My head is pushed forward due to the depth of the helmet, flipping the headrest gives you more room behind you so your head sits more naturally in line with your body.
For my uses the seats are fine, also I did want to share a funny story. Everyone focuses on the driver in this instance, never the passenger. All I know is instructors were fighting to sit in my car and be comfortable instead of trying to contort themselves into the race spec Miatas with Recaros...
Probably not necessary for a normal event, but after a full day, really could use some padding on that hard plastic lower center console.... My knee is not happy from bracing against it.
I finally got my car on track for a full day Autocross class over the weekend. I can't recommend it enough, especially since we had a storm roll thru and no better way to learn a new car's dynamics/limits than a wet skid pad!
Overall, to say I was impressed was an understatement. I thought...
Many racing series require a hole shot start, so it isn't just for drag racing. With regards to limiting damage to drivetrain, not launching is always best, beyond that it gets grey. Typically on Hondas you want to spin the wheels a bit at launch then modulate throttle to hook up. Spinning the...
