Not me, that one was Ap2lven's post/photo. I should have the kit by Friday, but not sure when I'll get it on, have a decent amount of work queued up:
Fix Boost Leak / Hardpipe bracket bolt
WOT Performance hood struts
PRL Front Calipers, SS brake lines, Brake fluid change + new pads/rotors front...
I'd lean more towards max performance summer tires like the PS4S in FL. Continental also has the ExtremeContact Sport 02 (ECS02). DWS06+ is a UHP all season tire
With the ETL cooler, what im curious about is why that plate/bracket needs to be mounted in front of the stock cooler? It looks like you could leave that out and connect the stock ports to the new fluid cooler?
I'd like to go with a mishimoto cooler, but theirs doesn't include that...
Very interesting! I found that part when searching maintenance guides but I couldn't find it in the bay. Also, it didn't look like what I assumed the fluid cooler would look like.
Since you mentioned that, was able to find a post on here where someone installed one...
Interesting... I havent had that issue yet in the CVT, but I haven't tracked the car yet either. Curious - do you have oem rotors & pads? Also, did you track it in S drive mode or regular D?
I have new calipers, pads, and slotted & drilled rotors that i need to install. The calipers came with...
Totally recommend a 4sqft sheet of dynamat to patch all over that spare wheel well - massive improvement on interior noise with aftermarket exhaust (and don't have to remove any trim)
I think this issue is vastly improved on with just a front tower strut. Adding the rear tower strut just makes it even more gravy.
So that'd be my take - it should come with a front tower strut.
Haha, yes the tower struts revealed its origins.
Mishimoto has a sale going on this weekend, was thinking about ordering it and figuring it out later. Here's the one I'm looking at https://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-universal-transmission-fluid-cooler-12-75.html
There's a slightly smaller...
Did you ever get that universal fluid cooler on for the transmission? A lot of CVT folks are looking for some examples of it.
Love the wide body look, the only kit I've seen approach that is the Aero wide body type s kit for the de4. Pretty pricey, (especially with body shop install) but would...
Well, i had all of the mods on for a while prior to tune so its less of a drastic change for me compared to a stock car that just added a tune.
But the smoother power band is very noticeable - less lurchy or touchy when feathering the gas, and really opening it up brings back some torque steer...
Phearable has you list out your mods and air intake housing when you order - i believe they tweak the mod a bit based on the mods listed (they mentioned this on one of their blog posts). So you can get the Stage 1.5R, and it is somewhat customized to what you have bolted on. If you add mods...
Yup I think the rims are the "final" mod along with better tires. Right now im looking at Rays MID R26 18x8.5 with either PS4S or DWS06+.
I'm trying to figure out how to get a dyno test around here. The CVT version of the tune does limit the torque (I think below 4500rpm?) compared to the MT...
The car is now tuned! I had all of the mods on for about 2,000 miles before tuning at 6,150 miles. It was raining today so I don't have any real feedback on the tune yet - went with the Phearable 1.5R and KTuner V2. I was able to get a used tuner here on the forums. Will be having fun testing...
