This is great advice. They will ask for some sort of written or printed offer to compete against. Make sure to ask for it on paper before you walk out the door to "think about it".
Yeah, I used to futz around with non-OEM trans fluids a bunch long ago, but found that I was always trading one performance improvement for another detractor. I've since decided that I will always use OE trans fluid but I am a believer in flushes for transmissions that are known to need them (ie...

I was just futzing around and noticed that DSC Sport has a module "coming soon" for our cars. If anyone has owned a car covered by DSC and tried their modules, you'll know that it's transformational.
Does anyone know anything more about...
I got the sarcasm, I'm just not all for continued and unnecessary quarreling between two otherwise helpful members. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, even if we think they're wrong.
Anyway, on to better things. No, I don't mind at all if you quote me. Thank you for asking.
As for the...
Next time (if you already know this, my apologies and disregard) don't use a place that does precut panels. Custom everything is best - they would remove the antenna, wrap the roof without a cutout, then slice just enough material to fit the mounting bolt for the antenna through. Perfection!
No shade intended at all, but those lines around the edge would drive me nuts. I am majorly OCD about certain things, and couldn't give a rat's behind about others.
I'm weird. And I like it.
Yeah, I considered all those options, but as you said, and given I have a white car, it's always possible the base will stick out like a sore thumb. I will likely eventually do black ppf on the roof too, so this would make it even more obvious if a bit of white was peeking out.
I'd rather just...
That was the plan but I chickened out as the cheap headliner was creasing easily. I kinda want to be armed with more information before I try again so I'm not just pulling randomly and then have a permanently creased headliner. That said, I looked up prices of replacement headliners and it's...
Hey folks,
I purchased a clutch slave cylinder with the delay valve delete from JSR Engines and installed it today.
Then I took my original slave and performed the CDV delete on it, so now I have a low miles (less than 1k miles on my odo) non-CDV slave cylinder to sell.
JSR sells theirs for...
Have any of you ever removed/replaced the roof antenna before? If so, any tips for how far I need to take down the headliner to do so?
I want to swap my platinum white one for a black one.
FYI, I went ahead and disassembled my original slave cylinder and successfully removed the delay valve innards. Reassembled and ready to install into the next car!
Anyone interested for a fair price, ping me.
I did the same - bought the rim and tire insurance. Was a fair price given how expensive OEM wheels can be, and like your program, it covers curbing too, with no deductible.
I should add that the Hybrid Racing HD detent springs arrive tomorrow, and my plan is to install just the lateral detent spring and leave the longitudinal spring OE. I just want to clean up the side to side play as much as possible. The level of effort going into and out of gear is sufficient...
