Would this work? They seem to have many options...

partsavatar.ca
One of the pics shows off all the different ways it can attach to the arms. If U look at the video I posted. FF to the part where dude removed the blades. That button system doesn’t seem to be an option on those blades. Unless I’m looking at that product picture wrong?

then again. It’s Bosch. They’re always good at making wiper blades that are super compatible with everything

hmmm. Maybe hit bosch’s site. Hopefully U can find wiper blades by make and model then compare the part number to that link U shared?

I am running aftermarket blades now from Costco, the yellow Michelin ones worked with some clip swapping. Unfortunately they switched to bf goodrich blades at Costco, will find out this summer what is involved with that blade, but they are both "beam" style with not a lot of stuff going on that could block the wiper fluid sprayer in the wiper arm.

I did the research last year, I think it's on this forum in another thread but the type-s and type-r use a slightly different driver side wiper blade, it looked like it was cut down the 2nd half, I suspect it's a performance mod so the wiper works at higher driving speeds?, but not sure. For my driving the regular Integra/civic blade on the driver's side should be fine and the aftermarket can work and are much cheaper.

So I just bought a used Type S and the wiper on the passenger side will not make contact with a large portion of that side of the windshield. It's annoying for my passenger but not preventing me from seeing. I asked the dealer I bought it from (a Subaru one) to replace them after the test drive...they said they did...issue persisted. So I grabbed a set of Bosch ones at autozone but I've been too busy to install. Am I going to have the same issue? Should I just return them and go to the Acura dealership for OEM replacements?

Used car dealers suck.

The factory blades do not have this issue. The blade is smaller on passenger side though I would think a lifting issue if there was one would happen in the driver's side, but obviously not in your case.

You should get a factory blade for the passenger side just to be sure the blade is the problem. If a factory blade doesn't work it may be the wiper arm is damaged and either bent, applying too much or not enough force for the blade to lay against the window correctly. I could see the arm getting twisted or bent if someone doesn't know how to get the wiper in the up position before pulling it back.

I agree with this.

Also check if the windshield is oe. If it's aftermarket or oem and not true oe, there's the possibility the windshield has a low spot. Used car dealers often replace chipped glass with the cheapest option they can find. Warped view and low spots are a common occurrence with non-oe glass.

I got the BF Goodrich "blade" style wipers sold at Costco to install on my integra. It is easier than the previous Michelin blades. I made a 2 minute video showing how to modify and install the wiper blade:

Cool thanks! I appreciate all the feedback. Oddly I did notice the affected wiper was lifting a bit in the middle as if bent, but then I gave the existing wipers another thorough cleaning (I thought I'd already done that, but I guess not enough) and for now they seem to be working ok.

you missed an opportunity to tell everyone how to go in wiper maintenance mode. the bosch ones on amazon pop right on and don't need adapters.

The ITS is the only current model Acura where you can not get replaceable wiper inserts, you must buy the whole blade assembly to replace your wipers. The part numbers maximetardif listed are the correct ones for the Type-S.
