That's a dual roller though. Dynojet does not have a two axle roller I'm aware of.

For nasa tt and st classing 2wd cars must use a dynojet. Awd cars use the mustang dyno and then apply a 10% power reduction since they read high (or dynojet reads low?). It's just a way they're trying to maintain SOME consistency among cars.

If I can get a normal run on a mustang dyno I'll see if the tt director will allow it to run with a 5% penalty instead... It'll still be way outgunned in tt4, though, since the way it sits it needs 348 AVERAGE whp (taken across the 4 peak power measures) to be a strong fit... The way turbo cars peak this means more like 370whp+ on a dynojet! That's like 411whp on a mustang dyno and it's just way too much for this car.

The smarter track choice for me would be to just make a proper splitter, gut it to drop min competition weight with driver to 3000lbs, run fender venting, move to a faster tire that's 266mm or less, cage it, fire suppression, and keep power stock. But at that point I'd just buy another z, a c5/c6 vette, or a cayman racecar and just send it. This car is a road going manual that fits kids in the back for me... Probably next year it will become a 4th car. I need another racecar, and I might have a line on one that's 5x the car for 1/3rd the cost 😅
Dual rollers can use the dyno jet formula if you want dyno jet like results. I’m surprised it even matters.

Damn that’s race car shit. Very UWU

Any thoughts on what could cause the abs trip and limp mode?

I know my car has been the "unicorn" pos since week 2 of ownership, but I've never had a car go into limp mode for a dyno run 😑
If you have no issues on the street it might be something weird they are doing. Last integra I did had no issues and it made close to 400whp on stock turbo. Lights come on like always but no power issues.

Was that on a dynojet or mustang? 1 roller or two roller?

Had hopes for another shop but because of their layout they can't do fwd cars. Now looking for another shop within 1 hr of me here... Hopefully going to find a dynojet that works. The TT director is helping me find someone. Partially because he's a good dude but also because he doesn't want to have to make a ruling on it 😂.

I'll try another shop and see how it goes. Maybe it was just that dyno being odd.
Can U do the fake e dyno thing? Get on the highway at night. Pop it into 4th. Start a log. And just go?

they seem to be dang near accurate

Finally got 3 clean runs in to get classing done. Only showed 290whp, but that's also at 3000ft DA and 5th gear. Seems low to me since I was expecting 330whp, but I'll take it... The consistency between runs was fairly decent. It's not as clean or consistent as my NA Z engine is, but the power band is nice and wide as well as low. Running this car out to redline is not worth it from my butt feel so this is nice confirmation. I shift early to manage heat and keep torque. This result means I can run an R8 slick or a Michelin slick and still be within classing 😎.

Thing is... I then reflashed to see what the Cobb 93 tune and oem put down, but after reflash it wouldn't let me turn off traction control again until I drove around and restarted a few times. When I got it back on the dyno and disabled vsa again it just kept hitting a rev limiter of some sort at around 4k rpm. I just don't understand why it would be fine on the custom tune now for 3 runs and then suddenly become a problem. I'll have to do some more testing...

5th gear ratio is .911, so this is ~315-320 WHP -- not too far off your expectation.

I'm not sure that it's a straight calculation based on ratio, but I do believe between a widespread in gears like this that a 5% difference may exist. I'm sure the weather accounted for another 5-8%. The rest could be dyno.

The only thing I'm questioning right now is if it was a real result or if it just gave me 3 limp mode like pulls.

My plan right now is to find a 4wd dyno and give that a go for fine tuning and comparison. Then I'll go back to the 2wd dyno and try to run oem, Cobb, and custom runs again (in that order), while capturing logs and doing rpm off coil-tap instead of obd2 tap.

Is that graph on the Cobb OTS map?
No this is a custom tune map.

The Cobb ots should make about 5-10% less and oem another 5-10% less. The custom tune definitely puts a lot more torque down. Too much for hairpin exit, so feathering throttle becomes crucial.

I know it works out nicely on the street, but I'm "ideologically opposed" to these small turbo torque curves that peak so high so early and fall off so hard 🤣

I'm considering a turbo upgrade in the future -- probably just something moderate like the MHI upgrade -- and it feels bad / wasteful, because I don't want the extra power so much as I just want to reshape the curves.
