I took delivery of my 2025 A Spec in April, and I love it. The power and the features - I'm only half way through the 750-page owner's manual!
One issue has come up, though. Every once in a while, I'll get in the car with the key fob in my front pocket, clamp on the brakes and push the Start button and ... nothing. Even after several tries, I get nothing on the dash. Then, when I hold the Start button down for a few seconds, I'll get a message on the screen, telling me to hold the Acura logo on the key fob against the Start button. After doing that, the car will start normally.
The owner's manual says that, if you have trouble like this, it's usually a dead battery in the key fob. I have changed the battery with no results. I still get the intermittent fail-to-start problem.
Is this a bug or a feature?
