? After seeing this I kept staring at my cluster on the way home... Carbon fiber isn't brown paint.
Did you get the cluster? Pics?

I'd like to see pics of the driver's side door switch panel -- curious re: fitment (there's some pics at the top of the thread, but they appear to be from a different mfg, or Jogon has changed their design).

I think I will be going for the dash, steering wheel surround, and door cards, but I want to be sure before I pay for shipping twice.

I didn't get the cluster but was tempted. I have the door cards and they go well with the dash trim. Last piece I really want is the steering wheel trim, gotta kill the gloss plastic.

Got my order from Jogon... this is my first time buying anything carbon fiber, are these green edges normal? :hmm:

Hmmm is it only when light hits it or is it really obvious even just chillin in shade? Strange! I’ve never seen that before or heard of anyone else bringing it up. Have t seen these parts in person yet though either.
Did you bring up with Jogan? There may be a slight language barrier but I’ve heard great things about their customer care team, return process, etc

I can see it in the shade, but its more noticeable in the light.

I wanted to know what the forums thought before I reached out to Jogon, I'll reach out now.

Let us know what you find out! I’m sure they’ll take care of you or have a good explanation

Green is what happens to carbon during oxidation. Typically this is from uv and water exposure, and when a poor quality resin is used which doesn't have uv protection as part of the resin.

Since jogon claims to use prepreg this would indicate their source material was of lower quality or potentially contaminated. It's also possible with prepreg to get contamination during the bagging process, but usually less likely.

They should replace the entire part because if it happened, it means the whole part is contaminated with the resin used.

Alternatively, you can sand it down and apply a uv stable clear coat. As long as it's not continually exposed to the sun, that would last 3-5 years easily.

Frick yeah. Glad it’s sorted out for ya! Be sure to post pics when the new ones come in and you get em installed ?
Got the replacement part from Jogon, not a hint of green, even in the direct sunlight.

There is a cloudy or drippy area that shows up if you look at it from the side but it's not the end of the world. Anyone know how I can polish those out?

Also, for anyone out there looking to install these parts make sure to throw on some extra 3M mounting tape, especially on the edges, the stuff they pre-applied has been lifting.

Lightly sand with wet thousand grit and spray with satin clear. That's a pretty substantial imperfection in your first photo... They should send you another piece.
