Finally flashed D-Rob's TSP 1 Tune! Wow, what a difference. Feels good to finally put the agony of all that time installing mods to good use! Definitely feel the difference over stock and the Hondata tune.

Now to see if I can somehow get the Hondata live sensor data to display on screen using Android Auto. I got Torque working through a third party app, but unlike VAG, Honda doesn't seem to send much data over OBDII, so the gauge options are pretty limited.

Getting cold in my neck of the woods so swapped out the S2K Ti shift knob for a Raceseng weighted knob. Feels good and doesn’t freeze my hand.

I thought I’d have to use the Raceseng retainer but I just swapped in the Raceseng knob and to my surprise when I pulled up the boot it clicked into place. I thought I’d need to take off the trim and use the accessory clips to hold up the boot but did not.

I assume you are still using the stock retainer nut under the shift knob? that's what the trim ring snaps on to, so it would make sense that it still works, right?

Looks like it. It's steel so no reason to replace it

The stock boot collar clicks into the original shift knob jam nut. Did you leave the oem jam nut installed?

Here's my phone holder solution. I got this magnetic phone holder from Temu for like $7 but shipping took about two weeks. Amazon sells a slightly nicer quality one made by BaseUS for around $20. I like it because it's minimal and also bendable. If you're an iPhone user, the magnets are strong. I'm using a Pro Max in the photo for reference.

For the charging cable, I got the ones from MagTame (also on Amazon). They coil up magnetically so they don't dangle unnecessarily everywhere. It also eliminates the need for a cable organizer. Cable quality is really nice too.

I bought the same magnetic cable along with the Amazon version of this phone holder and it works perfectly. I have an Android which needed a magnetic phone cover that sticks very well. Phone is completely out of the way yet easy to use when needed, no annoying cord management, and it stays in place during spirited driving. 10/10 would use this on every vehicle.

You'd need to jailbreak the android OS running on the head unit to get that info displayed. The Hondata app will show you all of the data if your FlashPro has bluetooth and is connected. Or maybe I'm completely misunderstanding what you mean lol

I was able to get Torque Pro to connect to an OBDII BT connector then display gauges onscreen using Performance Monitor. The issue is that the BT connector doesn't receive enough data to be useful. It looks like I should be able to make a connection between Torque Pro and the Flash Pro but haven't gotten it working yet. I see a few other apps listed as compatible so I might try those.

So I figured out the issue, I needed to clear all connections to the Flash Pro first, then connect immediately with Torque and was able to read data. Sadly, it didn't provide much more information than my $10 BT adapter. It's still useful, you can display AFR and timing advance and a few other metrics, but sadly none of the temperature values I really wanted to see.

But yeah, would be much better if Hondata just directly supported AA, but with all the restrictions on AA/CP apps due to distracted driving, not sure it's even an option.
