Anyone See any new in transits for the TEP/Orchid?
according to the schedule all the TEP/Orchid builds should be done. I have seen three delivered to other dealerships in my area but nothing to the dealership I put my deposit with. Trying to figure out if I got taken by a dealership saying they had an allocation but did not. When I called the manager he said "rest assured we placed your order when you put down your deposit".. This makes me believe the salesmen lied just to get the non-refundable deposit and they didnt already have one allocated..

Was your non-refundable deposit with McDaniels Acura? One of their sales guys banned me from an ITS FB group for asking about the legality of a non-refundable deposit and pointing out there's plenty of MSRP dealers.

'Official' and the only admin/moderator is a sales guy from a dealer that advertises ITS for $60k. Have fun with that info.

I haven't seen any in transit, but your dealer is probably telling the truth. I was told by my dealer that Acura really doesn't care if a dealership places a special order. Acura ships cars to dealers based on its predetermined schedule. So, the dealer gets whatever it gets whenever it arrives. Your deposit guarantees you that car whenever it happens to arrive on the lot. Moving to a different dealer wouldn't necessarily get you the car any faster. The special order can be a signal to Acura that the dealer has a buyer waiting, but unfortunately it doesn't seem Acura cares. Look how well the 200 preorders worked out. I can sympathize with you...I've accepted its simply a waiting game now for my ABP/Ebony.

My understanding from recent conversations is that the factory has its production schedule and dealers can request certain color combinations as opposed to building cars per order from dealers. Knowing that the cars are produced in batches, this makes sense.

The allocation quantities seem based on dealer sales volume getting priority. Dealers can then exchange vehicles amongst themselves to satisfy their customer demand. It's a competitive and cooperative dynamic that is interesting to watch but frustrating for us to experience for sure.

Acura Integra 2024 Estimated Production Schedule for each Color Scheme on Integra Type S IMG_9079

This production schedule has been very accurate thus far and is helpful to know when your desired combo is being produced. The Acura inventory search is accurate to track incoming cars but sold cars seem to linger as "on lot" well after they have come and gone.

@KindaACarGuy It looks like you're in VA. Pohanka did receive two ABP/Ebony last week and Radley has one coming in. Both dealers are strictly ADM but hopefully one of those is reserved for you. Good luck!

And per the schedule above, several MBP/Ebony popped up on the tracker just today.

This is what I'm not sure about with my dealership. They do "reservations" by color combination so I put a refundable deposit down for a white/black. I'm first on the list so if/as soon as a white/black comes in, it's supposed to be mine. But it seems like other dealerships did allocations very differently so I'm not even sure if I have an "order" or what mine is considered. But I've been checking the inventory search on Acura's website and have seen tons of white/black and all other combinations going to dealerships in other states but my dealer has gotten a total of 2... A LCM/black and a black/black. Meanwhile Pohanka Acura has multiples of some colors sitting on the lot.

I was told by my salesman that it's not possible to do a dealer trade with any other dealerships and they also apparently have "zero information" when it comes to allocations or anything to do with the ITS.

Is anyone else dealing with a similar situation? I'm not sure what to do... I'm planning to sell my '18 Civic Si before my ITS comes in but it's gonna be very hard to get the timing to line up without having any idea when/if mine will come in.

The other two dealerships in my area took reservations on a single list. A car comes in and first on the list gets their choice of taking it or passing and then it goes down the list. I'm wondering if I should just try to get as high as possible on that list for next year or try to figure out another option. Any suggestions? ?

Dealer called yesterday to let me know that an ABP/Orchid is coming in last week September/first week October so the production timeline is still holding true with MBP/Ebony starting to show in transit online. Said they would try to trade for ABP/Ebony but no promises.

I'm tempted to take it since this will only be the 3rd vehicle they've gotten not including the demo and who knows when another ABP will come through let alone an ABP/Ebony.
