The ITS is the only current model Acura where you can not get replaceable wiper inserts, you must buy the whole blade assembly to replace your wipers. The part numbers maximetardif listed are the correct ones for the Type-S.
I think this is misleading. The answer is more complicated. There is no lock-in, just how the car is packaged by the factory for your driving pleasure.

The passenger side wiper is the same on all Integra'and Civic models of the same 2022+ generation.

The driver side, the only difference is so the wiper can perform at high speeds, it is the same wiper blade also found on the Type-R. If you have no plans driving 100mph+ in the rain then it should be sufficient to switch your ITS blade to the regular Integra/Civic wiper blade, or any aftermarket blade for that matter.

Also if you have an A-spec and you modified it to go very fast in the rain, an easy upgrade may be to buy a Type-S/Type-R OEM driver's side wiper blade.

I bought silicone inserts off Amazon, cut them to size, ripped off the end caps on the factory blade, pushed them through, popped the end cap back on.

They work fine.

I wouldn't do it again... The end cap goes loose on first attempt, it then rattles a bit, and I doubt it will survive more than 3 changes or so.

The time it takes and the lack of confidence in the end cap popping back on permanently are enough for me to just pony up the extra few bucks for the box of Bosch aero twin blades. $20 difference that costs 30 mins... $40/hr savings for me is not worth my time

Well if they're on fcp, it's a buy once cry once situation... Might as well do oil from them as well and find what German car uses the same brembo caliper to get pads.

Fcpeuro is what makes owning a German car "so cheap" 🤣. I love it. I use them for everything I can. About to order ZF fluid and pan for my q7 and X7 trans from them!
