My '02 WRX back in the day was the most I've ever modded a car. I still have dreams about this machine... I used to embarrass Mustangs with it on the street. Was the first car I've done any HPDE with.

Rx3. Motor blew. Swapped in 2 10a motors

cuz the best way to make power on a 10a was by strapping another 10a to it!

When I was looking for my first car my dad told me I couldn't get a sports car...so I started with an 85 MR2, was fun an had a blown driver front strut, blown headgasket an transmission going...the transmission got stuck in 3rd after a month ish, was able to make my 1.5 hour commute like that for another 2 months then the motor went. A junk yard had a freshly rebuilt set that I got an swapped those in an the car worked great despite my abuse and doing rally, autocross, drag etc in it. Not the fastest but it could outcorner anyone else. Great memories and I never fully fixed issues like that strut, ac, window switch that i used a test light to roll the window up an down with. Probably would have kept it of ac worked. So many other problems, seemed to get me out of several tickets from problems lol, dash lights didn't work, speedometer didnt work, fender light would pop out for no reason, the driver door had all the window switch wires out lol

Grandpa bought me a 2001 civic about a year after getting the mr2 fixed an went through modifying it to try to do the same things a little better. After wrecking it twice, sold the mr2 to pay for the repairs. Kept that car for several years.

Found a 92 Mr2 turbo that was wrecked an motor was apart, started sourcing parts then sold it in favor of a Crx that I got a killer deal on a jdm b16 SiR engine an transmission for it, put that together an had fun till I was mountain racing a 350z an s2000 when the girl I was with freaked out in a corner an I slid into the mountain.

I traded the shell for a 240sx an dont remember what I sold the rest for...probably ricer mods lol. Rolled the 240 a few months later hitting some ice on the same mountain.

Did a mix of 2 more 240sx', 2 rx8s an a 2010 sti hatch, sold each for different reasons an built an sr20 swapped fc rx7. Had that until convinced the wife I could get another sti hatch an sold the rx7 to a friend. Rocked the sgot an did lots of modding to it so I could have a nice racecar to drive to an from work till got the integra an now enjoying the new car!
