What does the Integra's 24.3 cu. ft. of cargo space actually mean in real world situations...

Picture this, today I'm in a Costco garden center losing all inhibition to purchase some fruit trees and other garden supplies while the wife is doing a spot of shopping inside for some food for the week.

Compulsion prevails and I end up buying:

- 2x eight foot trees (cherry and plum for those who care to know)
- 4x bags of mulch
- 4x bags of soil
- 2x grape vines
- A shovel

This is on top of the food my wife gets, along with us (my wife, daughter and myself) also needing to be in the car to make it home....

Result, we all make it home, albeit a bit tightly in one trip. See for yourself.

Negative. Nope.
If it comes to that I prefer to rent a pickup.
This is a great way to introduce critters into your car.

I gave it a quick vacuum after I unloaded, but my car is not a garage queen.

Had it been a little more messy, I would have rethought buying it in that instance, I would have probably brought the Civic by myself on a second trip, but this car gives the flexibility to actually live life.

Not many other cars on the road that give this balance of performance and utility.

Very nice, well played! I will be using Teggie tomorrow to load up my new Honda mower in the back, I don't anticipate any issues. ?

If it's in a box, it should be no problem. Even assembled, I imagine you just undo the top half of the handlebars and it'll fit in.

Brought home a 50" TV new in the box. Fit by an inch.

Easily another 3-4 bags in the back seat. And that's not even considering asking my wife to hold stuff in her lap ?

Honestly it's a clown car, I'm pretty sure people were looking at me funny when I start loading the car.

I've learned it the hard-way :(

Even with the huge interior space, the trunk/bumper-lid sits higher (compared with a Civic hatchback) and I already scratched my bumper when loading my bicycles (those damn pedals stick out farther than I thought).

Now I always throw a towel over the trunk/bumper-lid when moving stuff.

It'll easily fit 2 bigger check in and 2 carry on without a sweat.

At worst if you hit peak incompatible dimensions, i.e. it leaves a bunch of unusable gaps, you could pop out the privacy cover and stack them.

I justified buying the ITS by fitting our BOB double stroller in that trunk. I was immediately sold ?. Handed the MDX to my wife.
Now you make me wonder if our uppababy vista would fit in there. I typically grab our travel stroller (babyjogger city tour) because it's nice and compact - hell, that thing fits in overhead compartments.

Should caveat that I did have to take off the front wheel as it's designed to do, but not a big deal. The vista might be a bit longer than the BOB.
