Why use this color ā€¦ not my cup of tea
I get that they wanted an exclusive color for Type S modelsā€¦ a special color to hype them up and that goldish is an obvious choice.

However, itā€™s not a great color and itā€™s polarizing in a more negative than positive way. Like someone said, they have a nice copper already but then it wouldnā€™t be exclusive to Type Sā€¦ or at least not current Type S models.

TEP looks ok when itā€™s clean and in the sunlight, and like regurgitated baby food when itā€™s overcast.

I just donā€™t care for it in the slightest, and think ABP and PRP are better looking colors if you want something a bit more unique than white/black/silver.

They could have figured out a way to make the double apex blue in to production like how Ford figured out how to do liquid blue.
