Interesting tight gap tools. Makes sense they'd work. A typical bit is 1/4" 6 pt socket sizing. You can use a low profile or pass through ratchet for more clearance. Even a small vice grip holding the bit has worked for me in the past, but usually the ratchet trick does it.I say debadge for sure. I just did mine, and I'm happy with how clean it looks. I took off all of the TypeS badges though, as I prefer a debadged/sleeker look. It did take some time, but after I picked up the right tools, it went from nearly impossible to manageable with some patience without taking the front bumper off. I think it took about 15 minutes.
If you want only what will be required to do it successfully, I'd recommend this.
If you want to then save a little time, this will help, but the first one above was the only one I could find that could get to both screws. The drivers side screw is in a real tight spot.
Probably not worth it for just the front badge. However, these will be welcome additions to my tool box for the long run, so they were worth it for me.
