XCFool did you have to trim the plastic at all? Can't tell if you did.I got hitched today!
Thanks to the folks at Hiley Acura of Fort Worth that were willing to roll the dice with me and give the Civic hitch(draw-tite 24954)install a try.
Taking the bumper cover off is even easier than seen in the Civic videos. The backup camera and parking sensors have one shared connection that's easily undone.
I decided not to trim the corners off the bumper beam since a '22 Civic hatch installer said he was successful without doing so.
That probably should be done on the Integra too since while the cover went back on and looks factory two clips that go on the bottom of the cover don't line up any longer. So we just ziptied them. Not ideal but should be fine.
Took about 90 minutes to complete.
Hi: Did you find a solution? I recently purchased a 2023 A Tech Spec and would like to do the same thing, and am having the same issues.I recently bought a 2023 Integra 6sp, and had been hoping to put a hitch mount on it to use with a bike rack. I have had ZERO luck with finding a dealership (Acura or Honda) or a trailer specialist to install a hitch mount. Any suggestions? I'm using the roof rack as a (hopefully) interim solution, but the noise and MPG reduction are annoying.
I found someone willing to install the hitch for me. Which hitch will fit the best?If I had to do it again I'd do it myself. It wasn't anything technical.
If that's not an option for u then buy the hitch yourself and take it to any number of shops from muffler to brakes and you'll find someone that wants to make an easy buck.
