Seat squeaking? (Video attached)

My seat started squeaking/creaking really loud yesterday. Anyone else’s seat do this? Should I even bother having Acura look at it?

Yikes. I’ve had a couple of creaks and groans occasionally, but nothing steady.

I would hold off as long as possible. Dealership is likely to make things worse.

Mine has been doing the same :-/. Gonna take it in for service in the next month to see what they can do.

Same sound started for me about two weeks ago near the top of the driver's seat. I dropped it off at the dealership last Thursday to get it checked out with some other issues (buzzing dash, creaky brake pedal, illuminated door sill problem.) I haven't heard anything from them yet but I'll keep you updated!

I brought mine in for it the other day and they fixed it. Something between the seat and the seat cushion was causing the problem. Haven’t heard it since.

I’ve had a few hands and the rails squeak after a while in some of the cars I’ve had. I believe adding grease or replacing the rails under warranty will solve it.

Mine squeaks on the driver's side thigh bolster but only when I lean or sit on it directly. It's not consistent or constant so it doesn't bother me enough to have them go in and deal with it.

Has anyone actually had their seat frame replaced? They’re replacing mine soon.

Posted in this thread a month ago when I dropped my car off but I still don’t have it back… they said they’re waiting for the seat frame to come in, seems to be a long wait for this part specifically

Nope, mine were resolved after replacing the seat frame. Apparently it was a recall so keep an eye out if yours was affected by it.

I need to bring mine back, they found the squeak with a scope. I’ll post a pic when I get home of the work order.
