PRL issues

I ordered the HIV intake from PRL on June 18th. They already charged my card for it. But as of today, July 15th, I don't even have shipping info from them. I got an email 2 weeks ago stating that the intake was out of stock and they were making more and mine should ship within 2 weeks. Now I get nothing but crickets from them. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with them?

They seem to just be having issues keeping the things in stock. I ordered mine from Unity and they said, at the time I asked, they were still 3 weeks out for their shipment, which probably means 4-5 weeks. This was 6/30 (so next week would be 3 weeks).

I don't think you have any specific kind of problem, they legitimately just don't have any stock. They also are needing to fulfill orders before you and from resellers.

I ordered my HVI and turbo inlet on July 7th and intercooler on the 11th. The intercooler is already here, so they’re definitely fulfilling orders. The intake will come when it comes

TSP posts pictures with multiple pallets of PRL intakes every now and then. Wonder if you can cancel and just order through them.

I'm having issues contacting them as well. I installed the PRL Cobra intake on my 1.5L turbo. My quarter mile came out slower! Checked the data log, stft always far lean (right before it would trigger a CEL). I measured the dimensions of the stock and Mishimoto intake maf housings both 61mm, but the PRL Cobra maf housing was a little over 64mm. I appreciate the the capability for more flow for custom tune but this is not good for a stock or off the shelf tunes like ktuner, phearable or TSP. I left an email and haven't heard back for several weeks.

Just got an email from them and my order would not ship out until the end of the first week of August. He offered me the choice to wait or cancel the order. So I canceled. I can spend that money on other mods I want!

Did you happen to buy the Race MAF and not the Street MAF?

It's the street maf. Several other members mentioned their stft were off after a PRL intake install (both the cobra and the HVI), but nobody actually measured the maf diameter or ran quarter mile runs. I ran 3 runs on two different days and they were consistently about 0.4sec slower. I reinstalled the mishimoto intake back in, gave it a day to relearn and did two runs. my quarter mile times are back to where I started. The only thing I liked about the Cobra intake is the noise from the BPV was very noticeable.

Yeah, I got in on the 15% off sale and ordered the Air/Oil separator kit on 7/4 and the intercooler outlet + piping kit on 7/6. I received the outlet and piping on 7/17, but nothing on the AOS kit. Have emailed with them a couple times (taking at least a couple days each time for them to get back) and they've stated that they do have the AOS in stock, but due to a system issue they apparently can't get a PO translated into a pick/ship ticket for it. Meanwhile I wait.
