That's definitely concerning. I'll be looking forward to hearing from the guys that begin taking delivery.

We shouldn't be dissatisfied with at least the first 200. That's all I can share for now.

Acuras have had paint match issues since 3rd Gen TLs (that I've noticed anyways).

Browsing I found this LCM Integra "walk-around, note front bumper color/reflection differences vs the hood and where the upper bumper joins the front fenders. It really shows up in this video.

What's strange is that the front bumper difference is noticeable but only at the upper section vs fender and hood. Rear looks fine? Anyway I just saw one of these in person and didn't notice any issues. So maybe it shows up more on camera where reflections are present, or maybe the variance car to car is pretty big. Either way, not too worried about it. Hopefully the 24s are better.

Unfortunately it is visible when viewing the dealers current Integra inventory. It is worse under fluorescent lights.

Unfortunately this "defect" is visible on most colors for the 2023 Integras I've seen. It is visible on the metallic and or pearl paints, darker colors seem to minimize the difference. The Type S are all heavily metallic paints, and so far the darker colors with high color saturation like black, Apex lbue and red are better than the other colors...granted all photos or videos, but walk-around videos of the cars highlight the visual mis-match.

Demo Type S should be available in 2 - 3 weeks at dealers, and since they appear to all be in white, which is one of the worse offenders, we'll get our answers.

If anybody watches Savagegeese on YT, color mismatch isn't only on Acura's. His Red CTR also has mismatched color panels though its not crazy amounts its still present.

bumpers and the body are not painted together thats why the way its sprayed can cause slight issues.

I feel like the German cars are going to have an edge here. Unless it's egregious I think I can get past it.

Update, I was at the dealership to check out delivery of the White/Red combo so I did a walk around after theyā€™ve already applied PPF. This car did not seem to have any color matching issues, it only appears so for the section with PPF protection:

That being said I did notice a bumper to fender fit issue that was not perfectly aligned :

You can see here the fender is higher and not perfectly flush with the bumper. Not noticeable from a few feet away but it is a bit bothersome that we may not be getting a perfect fit, finish and alignment for all the exterior components.

Aside from that, the platinum white color matching was well done. There was only one portion below the hood that had PPF so it looked like a different shade of white. If youā€™re going to do ppf, apply it to the bumper, upper piece and the hood or donā€™t do it at all

How did they treat the PPF around the stamped Integra logo on the bumper? I can't really make it out in the picture but did they cut out around each letter?

Bumper alignment is going to vary from dealership to dealership on these demos since they're all having the illuminated from emblem installed in their own service departments right after delivery.

I was clear when I dropped mine off this morning for install of the illuminated emblem that it didn't have an alignment issue at drop-off, and shouldn't have one at pick-up either--they didn't let me down.

Like this. They just cut the PPF around the letters. The specialist said they tried cutting the letters but mentioned it did not look clean and would not last long. Over time dust would collect on the edges causing PPF to peel off. Itā€™s not noticeable unless youā€™re up close like this picture, hope this is helpful

You mean the front Acura emblem? I did not know thereā€™s an option to have it illuminated. Otherwise it appears very dark for the front and back
