decisions decisions...have a ITS for MSRP sometime later this year / early next year in Blue/white or White/Red. Was offered a fully optioned out CW CTR in dealer accessories + 5k ADM
Oh man you too? ?

It’s like that hot girl you don’t wanna bring home to meet your mom.
lol understandable. But for ME, the ITS is that hot girl, and you’re damn right I’m bringing her home ?

Thx. But I ended up passing on the deal. He didn’t budge on the price and wouldn’t give me any free accessories. The car also had some paint protection added for $700 and door edge guards plus wheel locks. So the adm essentially went to $6000. He was willing to take the equity from my trade in and sell the car on paper for $43795. But after weighting my thoughts at the time I passed. The car looked amazing but I just couldn’t see myself living with it. It’s like that hot girl you don’t wanna bring home to meet your mom.
And there it is. You now know exactly what you want, and you didn't have to settle.

Your right I think I already knew what I wanted but the only way to really find out is to see the Type R in person. Ultimately I choose the ITS for the same reasons I choose a GTS over the GT4.

A couple years later and this exact train of thought it was I went through to come to the conclusion the ITS was right for me. I was dead set on a CTR. Had multiple MSRP offers for Boost Blue but I really only wanted the CW and dealers would only come to 3k over MSRP. The ITS meets me where I am in life. I want to spend money on something and have a few “extras” with it. I think CTR owners forget they are the same car. I don’t knock anyone for for getting one over the other but for me and after weeks of deliberations when I came to the conclusion of the ITS it was a no brainer. The exhaust alone makes me giggle every time.
