Installed the Jogon Front Strut Tower brace!

Acura Integra Integra Type R S Front Strut Tower Brace | AFFORDABLE & REAL CARBON | JOGON 1784832220731-bl

The install was very easy. 50 ft lbs for the3 14mm and 22~ ft lbs for the the 4 bolts that connect the brace mounts.

I know it's design is basically like another popular brand but the quality, finish, and just price can't be ignored. It's such a nice piece for the money!
Performance wise, there are some numbers to show improvements but honestly it feels the same.

I think my last upgrade is a coolant reservoir tank.

Hi bro. It’s been a few days. Any difference at all yet? As underhood jewelry alone, it’s super nice. I dig it.

I'll be honest, i can't tell the difference but my car is really setup for a street and I'm not tracking the vehicle.

HKS has this diagram which this strut bar basically design off from the looks of it.

Oh gotcha. So like the fk8 then, best just brace the rear hatch area if you wanna feel a positive gain

I know on double wishbone, strut tower bar does nothing. You typically want to brace the strut against the firewall. Since dual axis mimics double wishbone (to an extent) I wonder if it’s gonna use the same rules? Maybe we would gain from a style that braces the shock tower against the firewall?

It's still a mcstrut. Modern cars are stiff enough that a strut tower brace doesn't do anything until you start talking heavy G. The rear could use slight stiffening but it would probably be better to add some tunnel bracing under the car than internal hatch bracing. The pickup points are the ideal place to brace.
