HELP Rattling noise after PRL intake

I just installed my prl HVI on my 24' DE4 Integra. there's now a weird rattling metal kind of ticking noise either when I rev or when the RPMs are falling down. It sounds like its coming from the passenger side or by the valve cover. it never made this noise before but only started after installing the intake and now I'm really confused.

Any idea of what it could be? or maybe I'm tripping, and it always made that noise, but I definitely don't think that's the case as its quite an uncomfortable noise.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the 2025 integra type s with 3,000 miles on it and this morning a Acura sign appeared on dash, right below it said rattling noise, but didn’t hear any noise though. It disappeared from dash about 3 minutes later. Dealers close today will call tomorrow about it.

the car actually told you it's making a rattling noise?

Yea popped up on the left side of dash where music is displayed and attempted to take a pic as I was driving but disappeared before capturing it.
FYI I didn’t hear any noise though

Wouldn’t lie, I love my car. I’ll find out when I call the dealer tomorrow and have them take a look at it.

May be stating the obvious, and not trying to be insulting.

What transmission do you have?

Are all bracket bolts tight for the new intake? Long bolt securing the airbox? Grommet post is fitted snug to the new airbox?

just spitballing trying to go over what could be vibrating as you describe.

Mine felt more like a buzzing noise at a certain RPM. Honestly, I kind of think it was either a coincidence the car started making that noise around the same time or I was just more intently listening to the car after install.

The buzzing/ringing noise has been a combination of things - sometimes it sounds like it's coming from inside the dash. Most of the time, it's in the area behind the rear view mirror. Next time it happens, hold that plastic piece and see if it stops. I'm planning on stuffing butyl tape or something in there when I get around to putting a fitcamx in.

And to clarify - what I'm hearing is not the wastegate rattle - that's an entirely different story that I expected with the car.

I also came to a conclusion the rattling noise that popped up on my cluster was a notification from this forum. ? either way already went to the Hondata tour and jail broke it two weeks ago and it’s currently in the shop now installing a few bolt ons with custom tune.. no turning back now ?
