Wanted to see if anyone else had this issue or noticed.

After getting recall done steering has gotten heavier in all modes.

Essentially:

Comfort --> feels like normal mode
Normal --> feels like sport mode
Sport --> Even heavier

Am I the only one? wouldn't say this is end of the world and regardless am glad I got the recall done for safety purposes.

But I miss how easy comfort mode steering used to be, was a nice change when I didn't want to exert more force turning.

Would love to hear some feedback and other people's experience.

I did not experience any change in steering weight post recall. Would love if it was heavier!!

Read a thread about that either here or on the Civic forums. Dealer didn't do the recall the right way and had to do it again to correct the heavier steering issue. Search, you should find the thread (or the post in a thread).

wasn't looking for it but didn't notice a difference at all .... also it's been mostly boring highway driving.

Got the recall done yesterday and noticed the steering is heavier. Is there anyone who’s had this issue and got it resolved by going back to the dealership? I didn’t even want to get it done because my steering felt perfect. I don’t trust the dealerships for really anything ? The ITS is a performance car and most cars they work on are ā€œregularā€ cars. Oof!

This is exactly my situation, I don’t feel anything wrong with my car. I’m not getting this recall done anytime soon.

Opposite for me , after the recall my steering feels a bit lighter in all modes and I don’t like it .

The only thing I noticed was the Cruise Control switch is extremely hard to activate.
