Over the years, I gave away most of my tools and had been looking to purchase some again. after I got the integra, I got more hands on with my cars again.

I got this deal at lowes yesterday that looks like is still available online.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-...f-_-c-_-prd-_-mdv-_-gdy-_-all-_-0-_-10451-_-0

The deal includes:
V20 RP drill driver
V20 RP impact driver

for $199 + tax

you can then pick 2 free tools from the below list:
circular saw
angle grinder
1/2 inch drive impact wrench
jigsaw
reciprocating saw
hammer drill
oscillating multi tool
cut off tool
impact driver

I picked the jigsaw and impact wrench (impact wrench for wheel removal)

For $210 including taxes I got
drill driver
impact drill
impact wrench
jigsaw
2x batteries
1x charger

not a bad deal for those of us who do a lot of work on our cars at home. I know some people wil talk trash about Craftsman, but i've read good things about their V20 RP line, and i'm not a pro that does this for a living. these tools will certainly get the job done.

Almost all my automotive and motorcycle tools are craftsman (though my power tools are DeWalt). I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Craftsman tools for decades (and some are decades old).

I have all of that stuff. I haven't found an adapter, for the impact driver, that handles more then 80 lbs of torque though. I've snapped a few trying to get lug nuts off. I really want a 1/2 inch impact driver.

I do like all the craftsman stuff though. Use it for all sorts of stuff. Got the radio, the circular saw, and three different drivers.

That's a great deal! I don't do Craftsman anymore given the issues with the overall brand, but hard to beat this deal. I do Milwaukee for my tools now.

Ha - I have the same setup! After a full round of installs... I'd really like a ratchet set with more teeth. The set i have are 72-Tooth. Some high tooth ratcheting wrenches would be nice too.

I have the Craftsman ratcheting wrenches and I’ve found them to be really good, decently fine teeth. I agree that the ratchets (at least the ones that I have) could be finer…at least the 3/8, my 1/4 ratchet seems to be ok for what I’ve used it for. Then again, I think my 3/8 ratchet might be one of those tools that are 20+ years old…
