Hey guys, new here! And new owner of a 2023 aspec Integra! This is a CPO vehicle from an Acura dealer. Anyway loving the car so far. Couldn’t help but notice my center console buttons seemed a little crooked. Looked at other pics online, and couldn’t find a single one that looked like mine lol. What could be going on here?? The trim piece looks like it’s fully on, the buttons press and work fine with no obstruction. They are just…..slanted towards the driver a little. Pics online look like they are perfectly flush and centered. Is this normal? Is there anything the dealer can do being under warranty?

Def not normal. I would personally try to pop off the center console cover and get a look at what is going on underneath. they lift off with the cover and just be mindful of the connector when lifting; don’t pull off too far without disconnecting it first, then all the way off. You may be able to adjust them yourself from the backside of the cover

They should be able to hook you up and in the event that it’s more than just an adjustment; they can get you right and save you the time and energy if finding that out yourself. Should only take 5 mins to do yourself to check but up to you! ?

I’m going to the dealer in a week to have them correct my paint (took it through the auto wash when they said they hadn’t/wouldnt and to adjust a few others things (rattle in passenger door, driver exhaust tip is misaligned, hatch door and driver fender slightly misaligned)

Yeah I fully agree it shouldn’t be difficult to pop that center console. I too am going to take it to the dealer as I have a nice chip on the door jam that’s down to bare metal. I did pay for the exterior protection package, so I’m hoping they can fix that spot, and then I’ll have them look at the buttons too.

The whole piece comes off. you can use a pry tool and pop up the legs closest to you and see if you can get the buttons to sit flush.

I also want to sell my sirimoto crispy shift kit if youre interested. still in the bags.

If you take off the trim piece yourself, it would be a good time to wrap the piano black with some matte black (or matte carbon fiber if that's your thing) vinyl wrap. The piano black drove me crazy so I did it not long after buying my car and it's still holding up quite well after almost two years.

Yeah I’m thinking about that. Still has a clear protective layer on that piece, so I’m not super concerned yet, but can see me doing that at some point.

That's definitely not normal. For what it's worth, the entire stack of controls is a single module clipped to the center console trim piece. It might need a replacement module where the buttons are aligned properly.

Maybe the previous owner was too aggressive turning off the auto stop/start every time and punched the buttons in...

Here's an example of what the trim looks like wrapped in Alcantara: https://overlanddesigns.com/collections/2024-acura-integra/products/integra-de4-cvt-console-cover

That’s what I was looking at in diagram too; I was thinking how could that get misaligned. Yeah this sounds like a warranty replacement thing, haven’t made my way back to dealer yet as it’s a 50 minute drive ? oh and the alacantra looks nice! I’m rolling with the piano for a bit at least, it’s still has the clear film on it so it will be new and beautiful when I take it off lol, but can def see me going a wrapped route in the future

To follow up on this, still need to go to dealer to have looked at; and haven’t wanted to start prying myself- mainly because I’m looking at the part, and my top 3 buttons are crooked, and the parking break and brake hold button are perfectly straight. So I’m wondering how that could be looking at this piece.

Based on your description and how the plastic curves upward in front of the brake switch, I'm guessing there are two circuit boards inside that assembly. What's probably happening is the top one popped out of the clips holding it in place, in which case it would just need to be popped back in from underneath. If you (or the dealer) take that assembly apart you'll get a better understanding of what's going on.
