Mine popped off when I first got that car. I was so used to my previous car’s pop up center console.

If you still have it, you should be able to pop it back on. You have to put tension on the spring, and then reattach it.

the plastic broke off on both sides that lets it pop back in place

We're not your mom. You're going to need to do a little work here bud. If they can't/won't work with you (can't blame them) then see if it's the same as a civic and try some wreckers or even eBay.

The part you need is #5 In the diagram above. The latch/locking mechanism does not come separate from the armrest. If yours is broken, you'll need to purchase a new armrest or see if your part can be covered under warranty. Here's the part number:

83405-T20-A31ZB
