  1. Budget DIY ambient light conversion to RED

Yes, you would have to remove the inner door panel to get access to the LEDs.
  2. Highway debris caused driver door paint damage, advice wanted

You said driver door, so this should do the trick. Not too bad for $100, and it won’t look repaired. Door handles are pretty simple to swap out. I would be annoyed if I had to constantly see it and even worse, possible touch it since it looks pretty sharp...
  3. Ultimate Sticky Steering poll (CVT/6MT)

I updated my first post to reflect the link of the multi-page thread. It just has to do with the steering wheel feeling notchy, and frequently freezing momentarily as you’re driving. It prevents from a smooth, lane-centered, driving experience.
  4. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

** I set up a new poll to get a better idea which year and transimissions are suffering from this. I urge you all to cast your vote! ** https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/ultimate-sticky-steering-poll-cvt-6mt.52128/
  5. Ultimate Sticky Steering poll (CVT/6MT)

Time to get some concrete info on which cars are having the sticky/jerky steering wheel issues. Please select the one that applies to you. This poll is in reference to: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/sticky-jerky-steering-issue.50610/page-14#post-852807
  6. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

Thanks Chad. I just confirmed that to also be the case. A24 is for manuals and A34 is for CVT. When I now googled 53620-3S5-A24, it shows that A25 has replaced it. I called another dealer, and they confirmed the A25 is the new part number for the 6MTs. Gonna go out to my dealer to get...
  7. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

Made a call to the parts dept, and they say that the one ending in A24 is actually for the manual transmission Integra…which is what I have. There’s no new part number associated with those.
  8. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

Since I’ve been dealing with this for over 1k miles, I’m looking to tackle this issue once and for all. I called 3 of my nearby dealers. Two said same part numbers are being used. One said new part number is out. I did some of my own research. When you google 53620-3S5-A34 (which is what...
  9. Sub installed

When you’re ready, hit it with some hot air from a hair dryer. I’ve used this method with great results on small dents left by a baby seats.
  10. Tire recommendations for OEM A-Spec wheel

Sean is right. I ran a 20mm/25mm setup initially. If I could do it again, I’ll probably do 20/20 even with the wheel stud issues described in my posts. The 25mm in the rear tends to slightly rub if you have camber arms (to reduce negative camber) and go for an aggressive drop and/or tend to...
  11. Advice on how to do a basic wash of an ITS?

Easy/inexpensive setup: 2 five-gallon buckets with grit guards Small bucket for wheel brush/mit 2 Microfiber wash mits Car wash shampoo of choice Microfiber drying cloths OR Absorber (if Absorber, I recommend blotting dry) advanced/expensive setup: Same as above AND Pressure washer Foam cannon...
  12. Rear Defroster Performance

I agree. It’s REALLY below average. Since this appears “normal” for our cars, what can we do about it? Do the window lines connect to some sort of electrical component that can be upgraded to a slightly more powerful one? If so, I’m sure the fuse would have to be upped as well. Anyone willing...
  13. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

A-Spec has the same pins for the front wheels. Many coilovers have adjustable camber in the front via the top hats. Camber is fixed in the rear, so you need to go adjustable camber arms if you want some flexibility.
  14. Where to get an alignment?

Just Google or Yelp “alignment” near your area. Any performance shop will be able to set you up perfectly. Plus they usually have a good ramp system to avoid scrapping. The Firestones I’ve seen have abnormally large speed bumps just to get into the bay. Firestone is the pits. LKA and Adaptive...
  15. Carplay freezing issues (more than usual)

For those using wireless CarPlay, have you been having more issues lately? I’d say that the Integra system has always been less than perfect, but it’s gotten much glitchier lately. For me, it happens when I pull away from my garage. I think the system wants to switch from WiFi to data, but then...
  16. Sunshade?

Ceramic tints. You can get the windshield at 50% or 70%. They also make it at a higher percentage (not sure the exact number) to give it a clear appearance. The benefit of ceramic tint is that it blocks out the majority of UV rays AND heat without the necessity of being dark. I have 70%...
  17. Coilover Recommedations?

I would venture to say that no coilover rides better than stock. However, coilovers do bring a lot of pros to the table. I currently have Silvers NeoMax coilovers with Swift springs upgrade and have been thoroughly enjoying them for the past year and a half. No issues. No noise. Great overall...
  18. 20” Mach Forged MF9 Wheels

Any suspension work? I was on the fence between 19s and 20s. The problem with 20s is that you had to go ultra skinny sidewall to maintain the same overall diameter as stock. Very limited options as well. Definitely glad I went with 19s.
  19. Sunshade?

Curious about an outdoor car cover. Perhaps someone can chime in on the OEM one. I might start working somewhere with open parking with limited shade options.
  20. Just got the 3d Kagu All Weather Mats

Has anyone found a RUBBER heel pad add-on for OEM fabric mats? I have the stock mats and the premium mats that I want to preserve as much as possible. Not too fond of the metal ones found on Amazon. Looking to add something since this a high wear area that will eventually wear to a hole.
