Looks sick! Has anyone converted to blue? I don't have much red since I got the Apex blue paint and black interior.

Same here man. I hoping to get the blue done as well. If I complete soon Ill post the pictures.

Finally picked up my red lights this morning from the dealer. The Type-R red lights are noticably brighter (more intense) compared to my budget color change. During daytime, you can’t even see the budget mod. I guess it all depends on your budget and need for daylight ambient lightning.

Driver’s side: Type-R part
Passenger side: budget mod
Cell phone cubby: budget mod (red tape)

the red looks pretty good. honestly the ambient lighting in these cars is a joke. they should have gotten the ambient lighting in the TLX

A pair on inner door handle.
A pair on the foot area.
One above the wireless charger.

Are they all the same bulb? I ordered 2 for the footwell, the part number is 34750-T20-R01. Just wanna be sure that the same bulbs are used for all 7 parts.

Yes, all seven are the same part number.

The main “body” of the part are all the same. Depending on location, the little lens attachment will be different. You simply have to slide the old one off and put it on the new one. Pretty easy to figure out once you start taking things apart.

There’s a forum thread somewhere, but I cannot locate it at the moment.

Basically, it’s removing the leather strip that runs over the glove box. Remove the shift knob. Pop off the shifter surround. Remove the side trim (I believe there are some screws there, so don’t force it without looking carefully). Eventually the part where the USB chargers pops off. Then just swap out for the red LED part.

I absolutely LOVE this. As someone who knows nothing about mods...do I have to take things apart to do this? I would really like to do the door strips, if anything.

Yes, you would have to remove the inner door panel to get access to the LEDs.
