Blendmount Mirror Tap and/or Dongar USB Dash cam adapter

Just Seeing this. Thanks for the Info. I got a FitcamX and mirror Tap as this seemed like the cleanest easiest install. Hoping to put them both in in the next few days now that I finally have the car.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but does this method with the mirror adapter allow full-time power for parking mode? Or is that only an option through the fuse box?

I installed the Dongar adapter (the new USB-C one) a few weeks ago; it only provides power while the car is running as far as I'm aware.

mirror tap is accessory power only and requires the car to be on.
