Is anyone having difficulties with the AcuraLink smartphone app for your Type S? I only have access to the fuel range, odometer and oil life. No subscription is offered.

Same here. I guess it’ll update soon.

What other features would you need? Remote start isn't an option.

Vehicle tracking and door locks - this is standard with my ford escape.

I believe I read that the Type S doesn't include onboard wifi while the Aspec does. Not sure if this would limit some of the remote app features or not.

Well I just talked to support and the Type S does not have access to any of the AcuraLink subscription services due to no WIFI. This is a real bummer and can’t for the life of me understand why they would cut that type of corner on their top trim.

I fully agree with you! Maybe because a big expectation from consumers is the autostart option, which would be necessary if consumers pay for subscriptions. But they should at least provide us with something? I mentioned before that my mid-level ford escape has all the remote features via their application, including mapping. I can see where my vehicle is located when I am not using it, which is pretty basic now, but important.

It’s ridiculous, it would be one thing of none of the Integras got it for whatever reason but to include it on the base/tech ones and not the Type S is absurd.

I can't activate my AcuraLink until July 17th since I bought the dealer demo. . .

It's funny cause I've used AcuraLink a total of 1 time in the last 12,000 km on my A-Spec. This was when I first took delivery and didn't set up walk-away lock yet. Forgot to lock the car and did it from the office. Never used it again, forgot I even had it installed.

Subscription for what?
I have tire pressure, door locks, and fuel range. I also use it to schedule maintenance.
