  1. About to do first oil change

I’m at 20% on the MM with only 3700 miles on the clock. I was easy on it for the first 600 miles but I’ve been getting it ever since then. I think the MM going so quickly is mostly related to my drives being short. I do make sure I’m warmed up before I really lean into it. I actually did a DIY...
  2. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

I’m 1.5hrs away and will not be jailbreaking but I may visit some friends in that area. If I do that I’ll drop by to see some FL5/DE5 people.
  3. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

That’s exactly what it’s saying. I didn’t say I would do it but you better believe others will. It’s also done all the time to beat emissions on certain vehicles and that is where it crosses a line for me. Cat deletes piss me off to no end as well.
  4. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

the thread is here:https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/ecu-replacement.51618/page-3#post-846254 Looks like Innovative Motorworks did the cloning. It’s a bummer Hondata can’t/won’t do some cloning at these events. Having an unjailbroken ECU on the shelf seems like a good safety net for...
  5. Spare Tire Kit

A spec has a different bolt pattern. It won’t fit a type s
  6. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

What does jailbreaking cost at one of the events? They will be 1.5 hours from me in April. I may go, but mostly to say I went to Woodstock (Georgia) on 4/20 in my DE5 with VIN 420.
  7. Magnetic oil drain plug.

Just turn the car upside down when you pull the plug.
  8. Will lowering the car mess with the brake vectoring on this car?

I’m very curious about this sort of thing and also any effect that wheel spacers or non-stock offsets could have. I’m too old to care about fitment but I do cringe a bit when people dive into that sort of thing without considering that they may be undoing some [presumably, hopefully] brilliant...
  9. Hood vent missing bolts?!

I understand the frustration and concern. My passenger side skirt is not installed correctly and the bumper cover had some misaligned clips. Installed splashguards last weekend and found they had used the wrong hardware on the driver rear fender liner. Most of it was hanging loose. All in all...
  10. How to decide when to go back to summer tires?

this was presented on a Mustang forum as if it had come from Michelin buti haven’t been able to find it on their website: "Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for...
  11. How to decide when to go back to summer tires?

from the manual: Cold Weather Driving Summer Only tires and Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires are very sensitive to ambient temperatures and are designed to be used at temperatures above 45°F (7°C). If the vehicle is operated with Summer Only tires or UHP tires at temperatures below 45°F...
  12. Front right door weather stripping

10.WEATHERSTRIP, R. FR. DOOR Part Number: 72310-T20-A01 MSRP : $88.85 Double check that but I think it’s your part.
  13. Red interior question

I’ve got white with an 8 year old and a 3 year old and I haven’t had much trouble. I just hit it with leather cleaner fairly often and have my 3 year old take her shoes off to ride. She just can’t help kicking the seat in front of her.
  14. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

First oil change at 2730 miles. There was no drain plug washer from the factory. I put one on when I replaced the plug. Maybe it’s because I’m VIN 420 and the boys were distracted.
  15. FL5 Shift Lights

I was bummed that we didn’t get those shift lights or a horizontal tach option. Now that I’ve had it a while I find the flashing red tach more than adequate. I’ll still follow along to see if you all get this to work.
  16. What Mileage are you at?

I picked up on the 27th of June. 2100 miles.
  17. Integra Type S vs. Civic Type R race: 0-60, Quarter Mile, Handling (Lateral G's) -- by Edmunds

Love to see that. I wish they would’ve pedal danced the DE5.
  18. Apex Blue Appreciation Thread

Honestly the weinermobile is about the only thing I'd trade my ABP ITS for. Its such a fine machine.
  19. Homelink Alternatives

I just stuck a Meross smart module on my existing garage door opener. When I get close to home a button pops up on carplay to open the garage door. That or I can use Siri to do it. $45, 15 minute install, and I didn’t have to pop a bunch of interior trim.
