Jokes aside you need to adjust the the clutch pedal pushrod or take it to the dealer and have them adjust it. My car had the same thing and I adjusted the rod and it has zero issues now. It's a night and day difference... lot's of info on it in the Civic Type R forums and its a easy fix.

Came looking for this. I have it, along with a grinding sound at lower RPM and whine at higher. It's currently at the dealer being torn down per Acura. No mods, no abuse. Frankly I'm curious what the prognosis is. I will update.

Main input shaft went bad and the transmission came apart from the inside. Waiting for parts delivery. All warranty.
