Hello everyone! My name is Naseef and here I’ll be documenting my build of my Integra! Firstly want to thank and shoutout @Unity Performance for supplying parts and supporting the build! Also a big shoutout to my boy @Thusee for the install work and servicing of my car 🙏

If you are looking for parts for your 2023 Integra or your 2022 Civic, @Unity Performance is the place to go! Check them out here, and let the owner Humza know that I sent you 😁

I am located here in Canada, in Toronto. @Unity Performance has been and will continue to be my source for all parts for my Integra. Previously I owned a 2019 Civic Touring CVT with FBO and tune. I’ve since traded that in for the Integra!

Day 0 mods list:
  • 27Won front strut bar w/ brake brace
  • Eibach prokit lowering springs
  • H&R 20mm front/25mm rear spacers
  • Acuity Shifter Bushings
  • Whiteline Rear sway bar 22mm
  • 18x7.5 +48 Mugen GP Wheels
These items were installed at the dealer by @Thusee and all parts minus my wheels were supplied by @Unity Performance! Attached some photos of the parts, install and the final look!

The car drives awesome with this spring set up. The springs give the drop I’m looking for while maintaining a comfortable ride. They can be a bit bouncy in comfort mode, but I’ll take that over an overly stiff spring for daily use, however I wouldn’t recommend these for track use.

The front strut bar + brake brace was installed on my 2019 Civic before, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a bit more stability in high speed corners and a stiffer brake pedal feel when you really get on the brakes.

The 20mm front spacer set up turned out to be mildly problematic. The bolts were digging into the back of the wheel hub, leaving an indent on all of the wheels on the front. The solution was to go even wider, at 25mm all around. I no longer have issues with the 25mm square setup, and to be honest I prefer the ever so slightly wider look. It looks like a hot wheels car!

The @ACUITY shifter bushings makes shifting gears much more confidence inspiring. There is no doubt as to which gear I am in, if I’m in gear, and you can’t beat the extra mechanical feel of the bushings doing their work! Cheaper mod and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to level up their shifting experience.

The Whiteline rear sway bar acts as expected. The rear end feels much more stable in corners and the car rotates nicely into corners without feeling like the rear is going to snap out. I 100% recommend the RSB for anyone.

My wheels are my prized possession 😂 I picked them up from a dear friend many years ago and have yet to even consider getting rid of them. Unfortunately with them being an older design (from 2007), the offset is not very aggressive, hence the spacer set up to complement the wheel set up. They weigh approximately 17 lbs a piece, which is big weight savings compared to the OEM wheel. With my Mugen wheel set up, the car feels way lighter on its toes and more ready to tackle corners, handle hard braking, and accelerate faster. I highly recommend a lightweight wheel set up!

I will update the thread with new mods as they come along. Feel free to post any questions or anything down below!!! I look forward to sharing both my ownership experience with this car as well as my mods journey with everyone 😁

Looking great! Are the full body pics both with your spacers installed? Is the last photo with your springs and spacers installed? Would love even more all around pics whenever you get a chance. Those wheels looks awesome btw!

**Shift Knobs**

  • 27won leather shift knob
  • Mishi CF shift knob
  • Acuity Esco knob - purple and white insulated
  • Acuity shift collar - red
27Won Leather

This knob is an interesting one. It’s got a very retro looking design, which does look pretty cool. However I think for the Integra in particular it’s not my favourite nor my go-to. The shifts feel clunky and disconnected. It’s great for if you’re looking to just cruise around on the streets and drive in comfort, however it is not confidence inspiring for spirited driving. I’ve heard this knob feels better in the 10th Gen Civics.

Mishimoto Carbon Fibre

The Mishi knob is a great alternative to the OEM knob. Weighting feels slightly lighter to the OEM, while still providing a confident shift and tactile feel. I wonder how the plastic threads inside the knob will wear over time, however I think this is a non-issue for majority of people who are normal and only have 1 knob 😂

Acuity ESCO T6 - Purple/Insulated

Good old big purple! This knob is definitely a heavier knob than OEM, and my first impressions were “damn this feels so mechanical!”. The shifter sits quite a bit higher than OEM, so the throws may feel a little bit longer, but it makes up for that with the mechanical clunk I get when engaging a gear. My one complaint is that this knob gets unbearably cold in winter, however this is resolved with the Insulated version. I got mine in white. The insulation helps a ton, and it turns an unbearably cold knob into a cool to the touch knob. I’d imagine the same effect will occur in summer, except replace the words cold/cool with hot/warm!

Acuity Shift Collar - Red

Shoutout to my boy for breaking my OEM shift collar 😂 we were trying to pull it down to change a knob, and with it being cheap plastic, it inevitably broke. Thankfully Acuity offers an aluminum collar, and I would 100% recommend this as a Day 0 mod.

I’ve attached pics of each knob down below. Out of the batch, my favourites honestly are the OEM one, as well as the Acuity Esco T6. I’m curious to try out the Mugen knobs available on King Motorsports, but that’s a mod for a different day 😁

Thank you!! The second to last pic is with springs and 20mm front/25mm rear spacers. The last pic in the snow is with the springs, but this time on the 25mm square set up. Here’s another pic to get a better idea of ride height 🤙

**Resonator Delete**

So the rice boy in me needed more sound. I went from an FBO Civic with a DP/FP and exhaust to a stock exhaust 😂 not to say the stock exhaust sounds bad, it’s just a little muted for my liking.

I was debating between a full exhaust system or going the cheap man route and chopping the OEM exhaust. I settled on chopping the OEM exhaust. Because of the coiled design on the mufflers, I decided the easier route would be to chop the resonator out…so, thanks to my buddy Dave at Defcon Automotive in Markham, we managed to do it.

Right off the bat I noticed a difference in exhaust tone. It was about 10% deeper tone, and quite a bit more burbles between shifts and on decel.

There was little to no drone with the resonator delete. I would recommend this for someone who is looking for just a little bit more sound from their Integra without breaking the bank. It’s definitely a great bang for buck mod!

I’ve posted what videos the website will allow me to upload below, we will soon see the chopped OEM didn’t stay on the car for very long 😎

That drop is perfect and what I’m looking to go for eventually; thanks for that side shot!
With the 25mm square set up with the OEM wheels and drop; have you experienced any rubbing or any issues? How dramatic is the poke? I like the ‘hot wheels’ look, especially with the drop. Makes it look like it grips the ground super hard. Any shots showing close-ups of the wheels “poking”?

also, would you suggest any camber arms? I’ve been seeing folks talk about them a lot with eibach springs. I’m new to mods like this so don’t know all I would need

I have absolute no rubbing issues with the 25mm set up! I have hardrace camber arms and front ball joints that are pending install. I know SPC camber arms will fit our cars too, I believe @1tointegra has them installed on his car!

Hope the pics below help for an idea of the poke

**Remark Exhaust**

Big shoutout to @Unity Performance for supplying the Remark Exhaust with burnt tips for me 🙏 you can get yours ➡ here

First impressions of the exhaust was it was both packaged nicely, and that install was a breeze. Again shoutout to @Thusee for the install work. I did the difficult job of watching 😂

From start to finish, the install took about 30 minutes. It was very straight forward to install. OEM exhaust off with a few bolts, and then fit up the Remark exhaust and bolt everything in. If I had access to a lift, I would’ve been able to bang this install out (probably in an hour or 2, as I’m not mechanically inclined in the slightest).

The hardware is high quality, and the welding is on point. I was shocked at the quality vs the cost on this exhaust system, and I’d go as far as to say this exhaust system will likely be the most popular option for the Integra/Civic platforms.

I was very pleased with the exhaust tone. It is crisp and clear, without sounding farty.

I’ve run the exhaust for about 1000km. I’ve noted a few things as it’s settled in over time. The tone remains crisp and clear through out the rev range when accelerating. On the highway cruising in 5th and 6th gear, there is minimal drone at around 3000-3500rpm. I’d say at this RPM it’s about 15-20% louder than the resonator delete was.

I do notice quite major drone on decel at around 4300-4000rpm. Not to say it’s a bad sound though, it sounds gnarly as hell, it’s just loud in terms of volume. I’ve read that the exhaust peaks at around 100db, however that’s yet to be confirmed by me.

When you’re driving around normally on the side roads and main roads though, you won’t notice any drone. The exhaust is tame and mature when you’re driving normally. It does definitely wake right up when you get on the throttle. Cold starts are also gnarly as hell!

Tried to attach a video here, but the file size was too large, so I’ve uploaded the video to YouTube. You can access it here:

As a side note, the tips look like cannons. They are awesome 😎

Basically, it’s wider piping as well so I’d imagine that contributes to more sound as well. If you muffler deleted the stock exhaust my guess is the tone would be different

Exhaust won’t impact warranty. You’re in the clear. Just tell her a hole developed in the exhaust!!!

What is it that messes up the warranty
Generally if the part is causing the issue they won’t warranty it. An exhaust can’t cause any issues or codes so it wouldn’t void any warranty

I'm aware of that but both her and I know myself well enough that the first mod will snowball into things that would affect the warranty. This is supposed to be my daily that I don't mess with...yet.
