I did this when i had my 2016 v60 polestar. I did downpipe and fouler, and it passed emissions. Every other month though the CEL would come on and I would just have to clean off the sensor
I removed my bumper and it is perfectly aligned. I wouldn’t be too worried, just be slow and careful in the pieces above the headlight. I didn’t crack any plastics. Also, don’t use a screwdriver or pry bar to unclip under the headlights. Just pull from the end of the bumper under the headlight...
I haven’t installed it yet, but I ordered white line lower ball joints that I plan to install in next few weeks. This car is slowly becoming a massive drain on my wallet…. But I can’t help it….
Probably not torqued to spec. The shop did the good ole sharpie torque method, where they drew lines before taking off the bolts and lining them back up. Figured that is somewhat ok, maybe under torqued if anything.
Agree with the swift springs comment. The ride is a tad more harsh, but what I hate is that my suspension makes a weird clicking noise when I have the wheels turned and moving. Both sides do it and I can’t figure out the cause. Everything looks ok from my inspection. Take a listen.
I guess the argument is that with auto rev, you might as well just run an auto with paddle shifter. Maybe that’s a hot take? Personally, I run without the auto rev on street and at the track. Not because I’m trying to be cool, but because I find it very rewarding when I hit the rev match...
Sorry to hear that! This happened on my wife’s Honda passport. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the windshield. Make sure to check your insurance policy, you’re most likely covered there and just pay a deductible. Otherwise a windshield is like 1-1.5 thousand.
