  1. Reviews Are In For The 2022 Si and Reviewers are loving the Si!

I get that, but it’s now 2021 and we have lots of tech to get more HP and TQ to the ground. Asides from the clutch a base tune on the 1.5 is pretty reliable, so there’s plenty of power to be had. Look at the GTI 240/270 and gets civic MPG. There’s really no reason asides from California to be...
  2. Reviews Are In For The 2022 Si and Reviewers are loving the Si!

Trade you here in NY we can tune but can’t have any tint ?
  3. Reviews Are In For The 2022 Si and Reviewers are loving the Si!

I’ve thought about it for a while, but if was to go non type S, I think I’d really have to consider a base tune. Specially since the Integra will be heavier and I can’t see them bumping the power up enough to make it feel any different from the Si. I’ve always been a no tune person for warranty...
  4. Canadian 2022 Si

At the rate they are starving the civic Si im starting to worry if we’ll even get heated seats in the Integra (US). Lol
  5. Canadian 2022 Si

I don’t understand how this all happened really. Honda has an Acura Canada arm, which means they will get an Integra too. Why buy an Integra up there if the civic Si comes with everything for a cheaper price. What happened up north only makes sense if Acura wasn’t sold in Canada and all was...
  6. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Honda and Acura as of late have been using the reveal color as their range topping/high performance color - orange was for Si, TLX and MDX was tiger eye pearl. It’s a shame that yellow will be the pinnacle color for the Integra. Id have hoped for just about any other color especially the Long...
  7. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

Idk about you guys but I’m really just burnt out over this. They did it with the civic too. I just want the bulk of the details released together so I can make a choice in a bad market.
  8. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

Just the opposite for me lol, it’s the exact reason I’m waiting for the type S, I don’t want a stick so type R is out for me lol
  9. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

Yep agreed. ILX 8 speed would be my choice as well. Other similar cars in the price range all use regular DCT/autos: Mazda 3 / GTI / A3 / Hyundai / Lexus. Main exception is subaru. I don’t think there’s any high end car with a CVT that comes to mind.
  10. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

Well you haven’t been wrong yet, but man that really makes me sad. I know there are benefits to the CVT but my wife’s civic is just so boring to drive I can’t stand it, CVTs have no soul (personal opinion of course) lol
  11. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

I’m personally hedging my bets that it will be a DCT trans. CVTs are not what you think of when you think luxury performance car. If they want to compete with the Germans and Hyundai, all of which have DCTs or traditional autos they can’t have the economy transmission. hate to say it but it...
  12. Why the Integra had to be a five-door (not for lack of trying) says Acura head

I really appreciate what they did with the Integra. They could have made a more extreme hatchback that looks closer to a coupe and basically neutered the Back seats. Instead they just make sure it’s a fully functional hatchback first and then try to style it as swoopy as possible.
  13. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

They could have picked anything but yellow?? I’m totally with you on having either apex blue (TLX blue) or Long Beach blue (RDX PMC color). The lunar silver metallic is also an amazing silver color, I hate silver normally but this color absolutely pops even at night.
  14. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

At the snails pace that Acura leaks stuff, I’ll take just about any new info! I know it won’t happen but this whole sub will be counting on you to put on your best car journalist impression lol
  15. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Wonder if they will have any of the interior exposed tomorrow at rad wood. Hopefully one of you shows up there?
  16. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Yeah, just in terms of crash structure and safety equipment i don’t think it’s possible to emulate a car from the 90s lol. Like you said I don’t really know much about designing but im not crazy and somehow think there will be a 2000 pound coupe coming out lol
  17. 2023 Integra In-Person Walkaround and Overview Video by Edmunds

I wish Honda/Acura did what VW does with the APR tunes.. still covered under warranty
  18. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

From what I remember reading the new turbo on this civic was the one from the accord for efficiency right (not 100% on this)? Could just be a matter of swapping one turbo for a more performance oriented one
  19. Now we wait for the Type-S Integra

I’m sure I’m not the only one, but most of us going the Type S route will be looking for the automatic and sound system for comfort and not performance. That’s the great part about what they are doing here, it sounds like you would be better off with the Type R but hey you are going to have a...
  20. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Hate the piecemeal reveals that Honda/Acura does. They finally showed the real civic interior a couple weeks after the prototype reveal so hoping in December we’ll know what the full car looks like!
