I own a 2021 Alfa Giulia QV and have had zero problems. The regular Giulias are very nice drivers and 2020 or later is the upgraded version. There are several versions to choose from and you can get a nice later model for $35 - 40k.
Alfa is releasing a few new models and lower volume higher...
Patiently attempt to pin point the panel or area and try using a soft item like a plastic trim tool or tooth pics to see it you can stop a rattle. If the noise is from within a panel or window controller panel, use the tool to loosen and remove....try driving with it not reinstalled to see it...
The two elements mentioned (ppf, paint correction) each with a different issue but both deal with ensuring a strong bond of the paint to the underlying material.
The nature of automobile paint started changing around 2010, shifting to "water based" paints. These paints are inherently "softer"...
Porterfield makes a R4S arimid co.pound street/ track pad with very little dusting for the 2018 CTR. I have a set on my Alfa Giulia QV and they are great...low dust, no noise, easily bedded, great braking...a very nice pad! Bc the pad material is a light color, even if you get some dust it is...
I buy my cars for a handling and fun, there are a myriad of cars that claim this as their key selling point. As various posters have stated what is their definition along with examples, it is basically user dependent.
One person's observation of the greatness of a particular attribute is...
First off....what a stunning color...especially with the wheels.
As far as options go with this color and wheels, I actually like the silver stock "A" emblems as a contrast and brand identifier. The wing is pleasing but drilling and patching is not something I will have done to my car. Since...
I agree with your value assessment that at the current msrp to msrp levels the CTR wins (wing or no wing). The trouble with that proposition is that the CTR is unlikely to had at msrp. Given that global production is capped at approx 400/ month or 4800/ yr ( ITS is likely capped at 100/ week =...
Building on what others have said, if more "grunt" and instant power is what you want another non-turbo'd car may satisfy your desires, or a supercharged V6 (or V8) will give the low end power.
There is also the learned " memory" aspect. If you're used to the 1/8" throttle pedal movement giving...
I own a 2021 Audi A4 mild-hybrid that is quite interesting. If you're not aware of the term, it describes a battery "assist" system going thru a conventional ICE drive line. It can assist motive power, but can not provide its own propulsion to independently power the car.
The battery is about...
Back to the original purpose of the thread.
I saw a white CTR parked next to the ITS demo......there is no question that the CTR is less exciting than the ITS. Yes it has wing ( not my thing), but the voluptuous body styling, shape, flairs, rear facia makes the ITS the styling winner, IMO...
A word of caution on doing your paint correction or ppf to soon on a brand new car.
Since the ITS is built in the US the car does not experience the usual 4-6 week transportation cycle for offshore cars to arrive at the show room. Paint should not be filmed nor paint corrected until it is...
The only 4 cyl turbo car that I know of that delivers that "old school" torque delivery is a Focus RS. Mine had a very mild tune and yielded 440 lb- ft of torque at 3000 rpm...an amazingly easy car to drive car without ever needing to go beyond 6000 rpm.
