Browsing I found this LCM Integra "walk-around, note front bumper color/reflection differences vs the hood and where the upper bumper joins the front fenders. It really shows up in this video.
I walked the local Acura dealer lot and inspected 4 Integras, Aspec - blue, and gray, Tech pkg - white, regular - silver. Also inspected 2 TLX - gray and red.
All of the Integras had mismatched paint on front and rear bumpers vs painted fenders and hood. In addition on the upper left and right...
The well known brands (Xpel, etc) offer patterns, so installer can generate pre-cut panels in their shop making the process much faster and less $$.
A typical front end (partial hood and fenders, full bumper and mirrors) generally runs in the $750- 1000 range depending on car specific...
Most car dealers in USA don't do a paint correction. They use a "ceramic" solution on the paint, and most also do a stain preventitive on seats.....runs about $1000. It has a limited insurance on interior. It is not a true ceramic coat and paint isn't corrected. Bought a 6 mo old car that...
The CTR and ITS will be sharing the same bolt pattern circle and bore size, and suspect the same offset.
The suspension knuckle was designed to overcome torque steer by the relationship of wheel and centerline of the suspension, changing offset is a key factor that if changed may reduce the...
Take a look on one of the used car sites and see the paint variations on the Acura TLX and Integras advertised. You'll see that it is much more common than you'd think.....in fact Acura vehicles made in Ohia are by far the most consistently poorly matched bumper to body color.
I'm not trying to...
I had a similar experience with my Focus RS. The RS, made in Germany, had great panel gaps, consistant color and an all around well assembled car. A family member bought a 2 yr newer Focus SE hatchback from Detroit and it was horrible. It became clear once again that foreign brands that mfg here...

Check out the front bumper paint color on this car ad for a 2023 Integra. You can see the front bumper color does not match the rest of the car. Darker colors seem to be better.
The paint color issue I believe is limited to the plastic parts only which are mated to the all ready assembled chassis, doors, hood and trunk near the end of the assembly process.
It is not uncommon for slight variations in appearance bc of the different textures/surface conditions on plastic...
The TLXs in stock at my dealer were all dark colors...black or gray so it was hard to detect a color difference. The gray had what appeared to be less metallic content on the bumpers, which made them look slightly different....but the underlying color was close.
The TLX front fenders have a...
If you look at Joe Rati's Long Beach review of the blue Type S, especially near the beginning when he is by the left front corner you can see difference in color/finish btwn fender and bumper...but much less than the Tiger Eye.
NOTE: ACCIDENTALLY PICKED WRONG LINK. WILL DROP ORIG AS SOON AS I LOCATE IT...SORRY.

I have personally seen and have heard others complain about the paint and finish on the Marysville production. In particular the poor paint matches between plastic parts (bumpers, mirror caps, etc)...
My quick estimates on pricing, even for a demo are as follows;
$51999 base car msrp ( w/ destination)
600 paint (except no cost silver)
600 dealer fees
Total = $53199 + ttl
Demo $6000 to 7500 of installed dealer options.
Total for a demo = approx $60k + ttl.
About the same prIce...
I've heard a range of the estimated cars each dealer will receive in 2023 is from 2 (very small dealer) to 11 (large mega dealer) with the most common numbers of 4, 5, or 7 cars (plus 1 demo). If I assume an average of 7 cars x 250 dealers = 1750 cars. Add 250 demo cars and it equals 2000 cars...
2 dealer's in my region answers are slightly different than mentioned.
Dealers must keep for 30 days, and it will have numerous "dealer installed options".....exactly which ones they didn't know, but guesstimate + $5k.
The dealers both said it will be full msrp for car and options.....so...
Not familiar with how Acura deals with the optional dealer installed rims.
First of all, are they simply a different color std rim? Are they forged rims?
When ordered from dealers do they give a credit for the oem wheels? Do they swap the tires and sensors??????
That is true, but personally wouldn't own any of them.....each for a different reason. Sold my Focus RS last year, loved the car but wanted a more rounded car. The ITS could be a very nice alternative, but until I can drive one its still an unfulfilled promise of CTR similar performance with...
