  1. Cones won't permanently hurt your car...

Yeah some context might help. Just didn't feel like getting into details last night, was tired and still shaking off the irritation. But this was during SCCA Level 2 autocross school. I feel like I got a lot out of the school, in at least one way I didn't expect- an expensive lesson but...
  2. Cones won't permanently hurt your car...

But as I found out, fire extinguishers will!
  3. Phone Charger always stops working

The wireless charging on any car is a joke. I've been in countless rentals, all it's good for is to turn your phone into a hand warmer. It's a $500 option for Porsche and still works worse than the one in the ITS. I just plug my shit in. I never use the built-in charger.
  4. Rev Jump When Upshifting under Hard Acceleration

Personally I don't have this issue to the degree you're describing it. Maybe if you're drag racing? Have you tried disabling VSA (i.e. the "pedal dance")? Maybe that's causing it? Personally I don't think slamming gears on a race track is the best approach. See this clip starting here from...
  5. Michelin PS4S or wheel bearing noise?

I swear I don't notice a difference between the Michelins and the Continentals as far as road noise. I used to think "a PS4S is a PS4S" too, but there has been much fanfare about these particular tires and I have to be honest, they really impressed the shit out of me when I had this thing out...
  6. Autocross megathread

I would happily consider the Race, if they made it in 265 or 275/30/19. I want RE-71RS as much as anyone, but I don't want 18s. If I decided I needed to get Very Serious about times, then I'd do 18s and at that point would definitely go straight to the 71rs. For now looks like I'm stuck with...
  7. Integra Type S Competing in Iconic 'One Lap of America' 8-Day Cross Country Road Rally

If only they'd make the RE-71RS in OEM sizes or close.
  8. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

I'm sure you will post full details and keep us updated, but I'm very curious to hear what's going on. edit- I just went back in this thread and checked what brake/suspension mods you've done thus far. Hopefully you get it sorted quick.
  9. List of Honest Acura Dealerships For Type S (MSRP vs Markup List -- Integra Type S)

Good to see anyone who wants one can get one without having to play games. It is a special car but end of the day it's still just an Acura. I feel eventually this will trickle down to the CTR and tears will flow on the civic board.
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Maybe it was a specific mileage, but I just commented about this in a thread about Milltek exhaust. The stock exhaust has a tendency to surprise me sometimes, I'm not sure I'm ready for a significantly louder exhaust.
  11. Autocross megathread

If it's warm and dry I'll run ~31-33psi cold, gets it to ~35-38 hot. On OEM PS4S and it seems to work pretty well.
  12. Milltek Exhaust Sound Clips

IDK, this seems like it could be TOO much. The exhaust itself sounds pretty great but the pops put it over the top. I already get funny looks with the stock exhaust sometimes, this puts it on an annoying level. This is definitely the most aggressive sounding exhaust I've heard for the DE5, the...
  13. So what exactly is the Data Sharing Notification we're getting, actually sharing ?

Nope, definitely a Telematics Control Unit we're talking about. https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/ah/b3s52424iom/enu/details/guide06.html# Note the * denoting it's not applicable to all models. Generative AI can be useful too; here's what Google tells me: While there may be...
  14. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

All sensible points. I went through my phase of blowing off in people's ears when their windows were down with my SR20 powered S13. In that case I had a Greddy Type S. Nothing quite matches that distinctive whistle of an aftermarket BOV... so figured if you were going to go that route, why not...
  15. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

In case you haven't seen this.
  16. The Seats

It takes a little getting used to but it's kind of a game changer.
  17. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

It's not that they're not correct, it's just if done in that sequence if you're on a hill you'll roll. Just don't take your foot off the pedal until the parking brake is engaged is my point.
  18. 2024 cayman GTS 4.0

This ^. It's slightly better with the PDK but the gearing is still too tall, especially for a car that rewards you for running up through the entire rev range. You can't really do that on the street (well, unless you're an asshole and I know they live on these forums). And the only way to fix it...
