Personally I'd love a Type-S in Championship White.
I'd also love some form of Green and Yellow. Parking lots are way too full of shades of Grey/Silver/Black/Dark Blue
I'd be surprised if there is an manual as it didnt sell well with the ILX.
I fully expect the base model to be a luxury Si for the most part, and the Type-S to be the standard 2.0t from the other Acura models (CTR if we are lucky) and possibly AWD.
I personally feel 2 door designs usually look better. I still feel that way with the Si. I've never seen a production 4 door(non-hatch) Si that I like. They always change something on it for seemingly no reason vs the coupe that makes it look dumb or clunky to me.
I suspect it will be intended to go against those, but I also suspect a lot of buyers will be cross shopping the WRX and Integra if AWD is added to the mix. More so if the shoppers are Millenials.
That huge, rounded back bumper, and semi -looking concaved trunk is giving me 2000's Cougar crossed with RSX vibes.
I think this is blended in a bit high. the crease on the side by the door looks like it should be a little lower based on the render. The body line from the trunk looks like it's...
If the rumor of the Type-S being AWD and the 272hp (or 306) 2.0T the Integra may be a "gentleman's" WRX.
Side Thought: I find a version of the 2.0T likely, but unsure if AWD can work with the current Civic platform. Though without AWD it's likely to be competing to close with the 2.0T Accord...
While I'm liking what I'm seeing, I'd prefer a coupe. I know 4 doors sell better but I have no need for 2 extra doors and would prefer the sleeker styling.
