In my experience the PS4S have a lot more road noise than the DWS06 I run when the weather is cold. I recognize that doesn’t address the issue of the wheel, but tires do make a difference.
I’ve had a lot of people on the road give me thumbs up - and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact they’re likely enthusiasts, and the Type S around here is really rare. I’ve seen one other one on the road so far.
I even had a neighbor who I never would have thought would comment come up...
@CK716 mine does the same thing, especially before it’s warmed up. It seems like once the engine is warm I barely notice it.
Also - are you doing the cars and coffee this May? My son and I will be heading up for it.
We have an 11th gen Si as an FYI, and I would say the seats in the Si are much more rigidly bolstered. They don’t bother me for quicker trips - it’s really a 90 minute plus thing. I have not had either vehicle on a track, but I really just don’t think for daily driving this is even an issue...
I find the 11 gen Si seats absolutely destroy me after about 2 hours. They just do something to my hips / thighs that is painful. I much prefer the seats in my ITS.
Has there been any indication what the release date of the ‘25 model year will be? If it’s another 3-4 months from now I wouldn’t even give it another thought and just grab one now if they have a color combo you want. Life is too short.
