Is there a gloss carbon trim piece in the works in the aftermarket for this cabin trim?
Can’t believe how easily it was accidentally scratched today (first day of ownership) with the USB-C plug. :(
Between the fitment issues of the Artwork spoilers, to the cost and drilling of the OEM carbon one, I think I’ll just stick with the subtle and classy OEM lip spoiler.
Taking delivery of the car tomorrow and have informed the dealer that I’ll decline the carbon spoiler that I was close to...
Probably not the answer you’re looking for, but I would also try a reputable Honda dealer in your area if Acura dealers have all failed you. You can get any Honda or Acura car serviced at Honda or Acura dealers.
Don’t have my ITS yet, but saw a YouTube video reviewing the lights showing that they really don’t throw light far enough down the road, unless you’re on high beams.
I’m not a fan of tinting the windshield or dark tint either, but learn to read the room and get a grip man. You do you, and let others do the same; It’s like arguing over how fast each of us goes over the speed limit - we all have our own preferences, tolerances, and risk-comfort. There’s...
I’m not sure how far off my TSX’s gearbox is from the highly revered S2000’s, but there’s some intangible aspects/feelings of my TSX’s gearbox that I prefer over my FL5’s.
Can you guys confirm if there’s factory tint on the glass already like there is on the FL5? On the FL5, it’s etched into the glass from the factory that it’s 70% or greater light transmission. Hence why my FL5 turned out significantly darker than I expected after picking it up from the tint...
Congrats! I saw the listing for that car on FB Marketplace and did notice the forced add-ons, but at least they’re stuff I would’ve either wanted (all-weather mats and trunk liner, wheel locks), or had them done elsewhere (tint, PPF, coating).
White is a beaut, enjoy!
I too have serious doubts about it being canceled after one model year, but until we see evidence of 2025s landing at dealers, that particular message from that Honda employee is kinda ominous. The ITS did steal a lot of the thunder (among the media/youtubers), and tracks around the same lap...
I ended up getting a Type R as my FL5 allocation unexpectedly became available to me. However, I think the ITS will always be “cool” to car people, even at car meets frequented by owners of much more expensive cars. There’s really nothing else like the CTR and ITS with their combination of...
I’ve seen and sat in both interiors at the dealers. The black interior is incredible with the red contrast stitching. In the red interior, the red stitching is lost against the red pleather and that’s a shame.
White with black interior would be my pick, but we don’t get that combo in Canada...
Agreed that the FL5 wheel feels really cheap, and I’m considering other options too (either the FL5 alcantara wheel or the ITS perforated). Leaning towards alcantara since I don’t have sweaty hands, and it’s not a daily driver for me.
Not an odd request at all, IMO. Front plates are required where I am, but enthusiast vehicles of all different price points don’t have drilled bumpers here. Some owners leave the front plate off completely, some find alternate methods of mounting the plate.
Cops usually leave you alone unless...
No idea if it’s still the case, but I always thought new Miatas are quite expensive and always assumed they’re in-line with the USD conversion rate.
