the subtle clunk is totally normal. usually only notice it at low speeds/RPMs. someone on another forum said it was the countershaft and just the way these gearboxes are designed. nothing harmful going on.

i usually run a couple pounds less because that number is for a fully-loaded car. helps with traction and a smoother ride.

you won't notice it if you have experience driving manual. you'd have to be shifting SUPER slow to notice the rev match on up shifts.

yea, they are more for the track than daily driving. not worth the minute difference in flow to let all those particles in your engine.

Stick with the OEM filter. You could get an aftermarket, high-flow filter, but you are sacrificing filtration for flow.

that's just iron/fallout. they make detailing products designed specifically to remove that kind of stuff.
