TSP and Phearable are more refined. Not sure what the base maps actually change but i would feel more confident using those than a basemap tune.
I too, am looking for a tune that keeps the boost under 21-22 PSI. trying to keep my car pretty reliable and don't want to deal with head lift...
no, actually i've accidentally shifted from 1st to 2nd without even using the clutch and feels smooth as butter (was trying to shift too fast like an idiot). just slips right in.
it shifts better if you rev out 1st to 3.5-4k rpm.
i do change my MTF every 10k miles though.

the problem with the aftermarket air filters is they don't filter nearly as well as paper filters. so yes you gain performance but you are sacrificing engine longevity.
i cleared a couple codes, re-did the steering angle position calibration, rotated the tires, and filled them up to 36 and it feels brand new again. not sure what did it. but there was one code related to EPS/cruise control and another related to steering angle that i cleared.
i reset the steering angle sensor learned values and also cleared a couple EPS related codes (something about EPS /cruise control and another about steering angle); although the codes might be from when i disconnected the battery. anyways, did that, and rotated my tires/filled them up to 36...
