  1. Just got Phearable stage 2 tuned - rev hang is still there... :-(

My guess is Hondata and Cobb are not offering access to change this behavior. Hondata is a pretty locked-down environment (hence why Ktuner was preferred for advanced tuning on the FK8), and they both -- especially Cobb -- need to be careful of running afoul of the EPA re: circumventing emissions.
  2. Just got Phearable stage 2 tuned - rev hang is still there... :-(

@JesterTuned any insight on this? Can the throttle overshoot that occurs after lift-off at moderate to high RPMs be addressed or are we stuck with it?
  3. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thank you! Good thing I asked... I for sure would have ripped those off without a spare set of clips 😂
  4. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Installed the PRL RMM tonight. It adds a little vibration through the pedals, but it's minor. The 1-2 shift is smoother; the car has less wheel hop, and it has eliminated that "rubber-band" feeling when you first get on the throttle. I did struggle to torque down the horizontal bolt. You need a...
  5. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Any tips on removing the A pillars? Mine occasionally rattle against the windshield. I've got some felt tape to address it, but I haven't pulled them off yet.
  6. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

We can use all that rear seat space to house the new drivetrain. Rear-mid-engine, front-wheel-drive V8. No torque steer if your front wheels have no grip 😂
  7. New member - looking for 0.5" drop springs, do they exist?

I know some people have complained of fairly significant impacts to over/understeer characteristics after lowering their DE5. @optronix didn't you have to install ball joints or camber plates to correct the suspension geometry?
  8. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

Right... but the centering spring still exerts force on the shift lever, anyway. In order to move the lever, you have to overcome the force of the spring. My findings are similar to CreatureMachine's. The stronger spring / pre-load helps keep the lever from moving freely (not saying it...
  9. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

Are you using the standard Acuity centering spring? I'm considering swapping to the high preload.
  10. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

Stage 3 kit is great, imo. The bushings help with feedback, and Acuity's shifter is much more precise (re: slop), and it allows for a lot of configuration re: throw / gate spacing, etc. I felt the throws on this car, stock, were way too long, for me. It's not cheap, but it's a well-designed...
  11. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

I think the key here is a shifter that uses direct linkages, as opposed to cables. Plenty of RWD cars also use cables. You do not get the same level of feedback with cables as you do with direct linkages.
  12. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

One thing you could try if you're really determined to get more feedback, etc. is the Hybrid Racing shift cables from the FK8. Disclaimer: I don't know if these fit the FL5 / DE5. Reviews from FK8 indicated they were much stiffer than OEM and introduced a lot of NVH, so maybe they do a better...
  13. Integra receiving interior and exterior updates for M/Y 2026 (Summer 2025).

100%. Additionally, Johnathon Rivers made clear when this car was announced that it was a passion project, pushed by engineers, that was extremely lucky to have been given the green light. There's no way they're investing in further development of this car. To date, they've probably produced...
  14. 2025 Urban gray pearl ITS

Gentian looks very good on those cars. I also liked the "Dark Blue Metallic" they had on 981s. I love a deep blue on Porsches, especially with a tan or dark brown interior.
  15. 2025 Urban gray pearl ITS

It looks good on the 718... I'm not sure how it will translate on this car. I could be wrong! The combination of bright + pearl seems flashy to me, and while I don't mind flashy colors on little mid-engine sports cars; I'm not as big of a fan of them on sedans.
  16. 2025 Urban gray pearl ITS

APB replaced with "double APB", which is a much lighter, almost "electric" blue pearl, currently used on the ZDX. Hm... As a lover of blue cars... I would not consider that option. It's very "shouty", in my opinion. I understand wanting to have consistency across the brand, but it feels like...
  17. Two-year report with 2024 ITS

Because the gearing in the Porsches is way too long! (Or, at least it was in the 981s.) ...more champagne problems 😂
  18. Two-year report with 2024 ITS

The Lotus wins on everything vs the 718 4.0 for me -- except the engine. I think the Emira ia gorgeous. I love that it has a (partially) hydraulic rack and double wishbone all around (it's a tragedy that Porsche refuses to give the wishbone treatment to their mid-engine platform for fear it will...
  19. How to get turbo noise louder in cabin? DE5

FL5 forums are filled with reports from users that the PRL IC caused cooling issues, because it has a significant negative impact on flow through the radiator, which is responsible for both water and oil cooling.
