Also to note, android auto uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both. With newer phones the bandwidth and recovery is much better, as is the power stability for wifi. Pixel a phones are notorious for poorer wifi stability and aggressive battery tactics.
My s22 would randomly disconnect. My s24 has been...
There's also a point of removing or reducing things like catalytic converters while also increasing piping size that changes how an exhaust sounds. Sometimes adding that high flow cat jumbo downpipe lowers the rpm of the resonance that a catback exhaust was intended to kill with the factory...
I love the borla, but I hate all of their tip options. At some point I'll chop my tips and add some other ones.
There is a distinct "borla" sound that anyone and everyone knows when heard, and even on track where we've had some wild sounding setups I've gotten positive comments from others...
For reference the Honda part numbers are 76620-T60-A01 and 76630-T20-A01.
They cost me 80.90$ post tax together from a Honda dealer.
I'm sure you could hunt them down cheaper elsewhere. Hopefully Bosch eventually makes an aero twin package that fits.
If you can find a shop to do it. No one around me would touch this exhaust setup for fear of ruining the tip alignment. They all want to chop and delete the whole section or pull the resonator.
I would have gone this route if I could find a shop to do it, but since I couldn't I went borla.
This is where a well sized helmholtz usually helps the most. If you can find the exact rpm you don't like, you can easily calculate out the size of the helmholtz.
You can use literally any insert you want. Lots of silicone ones on Amazon. I swapped the inserts in one set with silicone ones as well as bought a spare set of blades from Honda for the civic (saved nearly 20$ for the same thing).
Technically our blades are not designed to easily replace the...
It doesn't need it. The automotive 3m stuff they use is wildly strong. The adhesive on my mirror covers is stronger than the plastic it's adhering to. The fender part uses one clip as far as I know and the main hold is still the 3m stuff.
Out of all the budget build quality stuff on this car...
For those rear mats, another option is to disconnect the tabs on the lower seat cushion and slide them under where each seat is, then snap it back down.
This 100%. On crappy backroada and chipsealed roads near me, even with the sound deadening and blocking holding a conversation with my kid in the back isn't suv level quiet. It's tremendously better and can be done, but in stock form it was booming. I'd have to yell previously.
To try and keep the power modifier for TT4 classification I'm trying to stay under "282mm" measured and supposedly a few 285 fit that category. Might be fun to throw a 285/30/18 on since options are abundant in that "BMW sizing" and would be a very snug 282mm fit.
That's an re71rs though and they tend to run narrow for that category iirc. An a7 would be a different ball game. I have some 295/30/19 R7 sitting around, so I might throw those on the stock wheels to see if they can actually fit with a pinch fit. That sidewall is so stiff anyway that it can...
Or, and hear me out here, you just throw some caution to the wind and run them dedicated with a 265/35 a7. Or better yet, spend a little time convincing a 295/30 to fit 😉.
Somebody needs to... Before I try 😅.
